It was a clean and cozy place. Rob was very friendly and helpful in case you needed anything. There was a minor issue with the water that was fixed immediately by Rob. There is a waterfall nearby that has a refreshing vibe. I highly recommend it!
This house is cozy upstairs, but roomy downstairs. Upon entry, you feel right at home like you’re at your grandparents’ house—mostly the musty smell and dated decor. BUT then you see the roomy basement with three pullout couches, jukebox, and food all and all is forgiven! Families with early risers… your best friend will be the side porch! Hubby and I had coffee out here with two littles and the door shut, and those in the upstairs and downstairs were able to sleep in. Godsend! The view is pretty, the fire pit is fun, and the basement gave room for the kids to roam while the adults got caught up chatting upstairs. Bring expander plugs for the bedrooms, as there aren’t enough outlets. And don’t let your kid stand on the metal cellar door, which gave way to my 7 yo and was almost a tragedy. They need to secure it properly and then it will be fine. Not far from the things we wanted to do, but hard to find from the road
This home was exactly what we needed for our stay in Mill Run. It very close to our family and a good base for our day trips.
The house was nice but could have been better with a bit more attention to the details. There weren’t enough blankets, so the people in the basement were very cold at night. The toilet paper was the cheapest single ply you can buy. The pots and pans were very old and in poor condition. On the plus side, the location was great, very close to ohiopyle. The house had plenty of space and the basement was nice.
We visited all the Frank Lloyd Wrights sites in the area, along with a day of biking. This house was the perfect location to get around the area. In the evenings, it was so peaceful to sit on the sun porch and enjoy the view. Tucked at the end of the road it was a wonderfully quiet place. Kitchen is fully stocked. It is a great house!!
The house was in a great location, about 15 minutes from Seven Springs. The basement was a great spot for our group of cousins to hang out after skiing. The listing was exactly as described.
Clean and comfortable with cozy basement that completes the ski trip vibe.
Overall a sweet little ranch that feels a bit like a lodge on the inside. Such a cozy vibe all throughout. Very comfortable couches and beds, and excellent space to put luggage and misc. in bedrooms and on side porch- the kitchen is fully stocked has nice new appliances. EXCELLENT ice cold drinking water from the tap- delicious. Bathrooms were updated beautifully with very durable, high quality features. Spotless home!!!!!! Just need a bit of tweaking when it comes to stocking up on paper products and bedding… For the amount we paid for 5 nights for our Christmas family (7) VACATION, we were a little bummed that: there was only 4 rolls of TP and 1/2 box of Kleenex in the house. We really could have used a blanket on each bed and an extra in each room. At least 2 bath towels per person would be better as the 1 per person isn’t realistic and the 1 hand towel in each bathroom for 7 people, for 5 nights, seemed odd. Awesome showers but Hit water runs out after about 15 min…tough for 7 adults on a vacation. Replacement garbage bags, a recycling option and bigger trash cans outside would have been good too. The fence along the neighbors farm has signage that is ELECTRIC!!! No mention of that in ad… so we didn’t know if it was active or not- made it tougher with the dog. Each room in the house is smaller than they appear in the VRBO pictures but it is so well set up that it feels big enough and it is so warm and cozy!! (Dec) Not a luxurious place, but a really solid, super clean, comfortable home and really perfect for pets and such beautiful scenery. Thanks for hosting us Normalville!!
Four of us friends were traveling through PA and spent 3 days at Robert's home. It was a very nice, clean home, stocked with everything we needed. The basement was a nice place to gather, do puzzles, watch TV, listen to the jukebox. Robert was very responsive to all of our messages. The house was a great location to do day trips to Ohiopyle State Park, Laurel Caverns, Fallingwater. We highly recommend this home for anyone staying in the area.
Very clean ! Nicely kept inside and out. Robert communicated in a very timely manner with all questions.
