Sequim, Washington
“Speak to me of love,” said St. Francis to the almond tree, and the tree blossomed.
Come blossom in our immaculate and elegantly-appointed, 1Bdrm, 1,150 sqft home. Exhale and soak in the quiet beauty on our deck and outdoor patio.
Setting
Secluded in a forest including old Madrone, Fir, Cedar, Cypress trees, and surrounded by new landscaping, this Japanese Teahouse-inspired house symbolizes tea traditions practiced across time and cultures. Tea rituals promote reflection, refreshment, contentment, connection, healing, harmony, and peace. We designed the Teahouse and gardens in the spirit of such teahouses.
The architectural feature of the clerestory, along with the glass walls, doors, and windows on all sides, create a light and airy feel that brings the outside inside. The forest views, combined with the clean lines and minimalist aesthetic, make the teahouse retreat an ideal place for you to commune with nature, self, and others.
Cooking is a joy in the well-appointed kitchen with new appliances. With the open floor plan, modular furniture arrangements, and enclosed, glass- walled porch, , the Teahouse can be configured to suit a variety of purposes such as individual retreat, couples adventure, or social gathering.
The Teahouse has no beach access, but is just a 3-minute drive to Panorama Vista Park-where you can walk along the Straits of Juan de Fuca. It is also minutes away from the Discovery Bike trail and Miller Park. Because of its peaceful setting, it is also a perfect place to remain onsite and lose yourself in a podcast, book, music, or complete that work, art, or writing project. Enjoy dining alfresco on the spacious patio, where you might see one of our resident deer or eagles.
The Teahouse on East Sequim Bay awaits you.

The Tea House in the woods can only be described as incredibly beautiful and tranquil inside and out. Our hosts Paula and Scott have taken every measure to accommodate and guests can want for nothing. From a well equipped kitchen to an abundance of high quality toiletries, they have supplied it. The bed and all the furniture is high end and comfortable. We had the pleasure of meeting Scott he has a great personality! Let’s put it this way… we already have friends looking to book time there from the pics we have sent out and we are also looking forward to returning!! Eddie & Brenda
The Teahouse is an architectural delight nestled in a beautifully landscaped setting with a view through the forest to Sequim Bay. Our wonderful hosts embodied the saying from Gosford Park: The perfection of service is the anticipation of need.
This is a really phenomenal property starting with the overall setting including the beautifully landscaped yard, the lovely bay view through gorgeous madrone trees and the fantastic architecture of the house itself. Inside we found a pristine interior with tasteful decor and extremely comfortable furnishings. Every need has been considered, is very well organized and marked with labels so is easy to find. The house is fully equipped with all of the bedroom, bath and kitchen necessities one would need. My husband and I were there to celebrate our 28th anniversary. Paula and Scott left us a nice note and a bottle of champagne. We found them to be so kind, responsive and friendly during our stay. We only communicated with them because they were so kind but we had no concerns or issues, There were covered decks to sit under as well as a patio we didn’t use this time but looked like a lovely way to spend an evening. We experienced both sunny and rainy days during our five day stay and all were magical. I have had reservations writing this because I know once discovered this house will be difficult to book. Don’t hesitate to book, you will be enchanted.
Wonderful teahouse, well-equipped and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed our stay.
If you are lucky enough to book this house, get ready to be transported to your own personal magical retreat. From the beautiful landscape and forest scenery to the amazingly stocked kitchen, you will never want, or need to leave! Paula was the perfect hostess, very easy to work with and accommodating. You could not find a better place to stay!!
