Dear Nature’s Harmony Guest,

Indulge yourself at Nature's Harmony. Getaway to this luxurious cabin tucked into North Carolina's premier mountainside. Nature's Harmony is more than your traditional vacation rental, but rather a warm inviting log cabin in the woods. This 1920’s built log cabin centrally located in an area minutes from charming downtown Hendersonville and a short drive to Asheville is tucked between multiple hiking trails with picturesque scenes.

From the moment you walk through the front door you will be astounded by the beautiful log walls with white chinking, hardwood floors, beams and a floor to ceiling stone non-working fireplace. To make this room even more inviting, two loveseats and chairs with cushy throw pillows summon you to curl up with a good book. In the corner is a game table which faces the 48” TV so you won’t miss any of the action of your favorite team or show. A plethora of games and puzzles are available if you wish to unplug and enjoy good old fashioned fun! The original cabin has a unique feel. As you wander from room to room you may notice a creak in the floorboard or a spot that isn’t quite level. These foibles are what make this place truly charming. There have been a couple of additions over the years to update the living space.

The second bedroom, on the main floor, next to the living room has a plush-top queen-sized bed, hardwood floors with area rug to keep your toes toasty. This bedroom is adjacent to a bathroom with two separate sinks, toilet and tub/shower unit. Upstairs you will find the third bedroom with its plush queen mattress, chair and two closets. A half bath adjoins the bedroom.

If you want to enjoy a home-cooked meal, all you have to do is provide the food! Nature’s Harmony comes stocked with all of the essential kitchen tools for baking and cooking, i.e. electric stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, and large refrigerator as well as the basic dishes, small appliances, cookware and spices a gourmet cook could possibly need. There is island seating as well as a dining area which will seat eight.

A huge master suite with sitting area has a pullout sofa bed and comfy chairs accompanied by a 50” TV. This area is so large that it can be divided for more privacy if guests decide to stay overnight. Luxuriate in the brand new master bathroom with double sinks, enclosed commode room, and large walk-in shower. In a closet attached to the master bath is a large capacity washer and dryer so you don’t have to take your dirty clothes home. Lay in the king-size plush bed and enjoy the sound of rustling leaves as you gaze out the patio doors which open into the large screened-in porch. From here you can take in views of the gardens, sip cocktails and unwind, or enjoy the morning paper with your coffee. There is also a fire pit so you can roast marshmallows or star gaze at the vast sky at night in the private backyard.

The availability of multiple living areas allows for conversations to evolve in a way that the modern world often interrupts. We want you to turn off your cell phone and computer if you need a break from your busy life. WiFi and cell signal still allow for a reality check if work demands a few minutes of your time. A desk is available for you to use in the office.

If you are looking for locally owned food, wineries, breweries or retail establishments we are more than happy to share our favorites with you. Just ask us for recommendations.

We welcome you to make Nature’s Harmony your new home in the mountains; one you will want to return to year after year. Escape today to the tranquil comfort of Nature’s Harmony.

This house is so sweet and tucked away in a quiet spot with alot of privacy. The region in fall is beautiful. We loved our stay and hope to return!

What a delightful home! The home was cute, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed. We found the location to be perfect for visiting our family in Hendersonville. Joel and Ann Marie are wonderful hosts. They will likely see us again! We would highly recommend this property.

The house was very clean and it is located in a very quiet neighborhood. It is an odd house, because one half (with 2 of the bedrooms) is a log cabin and has a pervasive smell of woodsmoke and the other half (kitchen and master suite) is a more modern house. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with what we needed for basic cooking. The master suite is huge with a large bathroom and a king-sized bed. However, the mattress was not comfortable and the bed squeaks with the slightest movement. The doors are very difficult to open because they stick and you have to shove them very hard. Overall, the house was fine for our needs - we rented it for a long weekend and didn't spend much time there other than sleeping and making breakfast.

We loved staying here. They have added on rooms and spaces to make this a great home for our family of 7. It was very cool staying in an old cabin. It had all the modern conveniences and was close to all the waterfalls we wanted to see. We loved all the great local hikes and loved Sliding Rock. The kids had a ball.

This property has lots of charm…from the original log cabin to the modern addition. While the house is large enough for individual privacy, there are also great options for gathering spaces, including the rustic living room in the high-ceilinged original cabin, the kitchen island, dining table, sitting room in the largest bedroom, and our favorites…the outside fire pit and the lovely screened-in porch! Two bedrooms each have a full bathroom, and the third bedroom has a half-bath. All starter amenities are supplied and the kitchen is well-stocked. The house and property are well-maintained and spotless! The neighborhood is quiet, and the property seems secluded in a wooded oasis. We were there during the spring, so the evenings were cool and the days were a little warmer and humid. The heating system worked efficiently when needed, but we didn’t try the AC. Screened windows were opened through the night for a wonderful breeze! The house is a convenient location for Hendersonville and neighboring towns. After staying in several rentals in the area over the years, this is the one we will re-book!

We were extremely fortunate to be staying at Nature's Harmony when Hurricane Helene encompassed Asheville more than predicted. Along with being a unique, quirky, and roomy cottage it's also a fortress! So appreciative that it had a generator as we were safest inside the cabin. Our hosts could not have been more caring and even though all communication was down, they made sure we were comfortable. The cabin was well equipped and we had everything we needed. We were fortunate and so very sorry for Hendersonville and Asheville. Would recommend this cabin to anyone planning a trip to Hendersonville.

Property was as described and per photos. There were 5 senior adults. The location was great for visiting the Apple Festival, apple orchards and antique shops. The layout worked out fine. The kitchen is very well furnished. We could sit in one room to talk or retreat to other areas of the house for alone time. Both the front porch and the screened in porch were enjoyed. We all agreed that this house would be a great place to stay again.

We loved staying in this home. It was very clean, spacious, and spread out nicely. It was close to all of the things we wanted to do in the Hendersonville area. The host was prompt and kind to respond to all of our requests and questions. The landscaping and window views were pretty. The house is in an older neighborhood, but it was very quiet and peaceful. Beds were comfortable. The house had everything we needed for our week’s stay!
