Great house with beautiful views!

Beautiful view!! House had plenty of room.

Our stay at little bear was fantastic. The lodge is located in a place that was situated close enough to Bozeman and Yellowstone, which were 2 places on our bucket list. Melissa was great to work with and stayed in contact with us the entire time to make sure our stay lived up to expectations.

Absolutely beautiful place and location. Melissa is a wonderful and accommodating host. Will definitely be back to this property someday.

Good: Lodge had plenty of room, convenient to both Bozeman and Big SkyBad: Host had very odd communication requirements before booking the trip, seemed like an interview. House rules left in notes all over the house: everything from not bringing glass from the in the house outside (so no wine or coffee on the porch) to lights having tape over them so you couldn’t turn the switch. Yard closest to the house seemed over grown and unkept. Could hear trucks and traffic on the road all night and we had to sleep with the windows open upstairs because it was warm. Worst: Host called to let me know goats would be in the field next to the house to eat the grass during our stay, no problem our boys (10,12) loved them. The goat herder had two dogs that came into the yard. While we were away from the house, the host called me in a sheer accusation panic and when we didn’t answer (during family pictures) she called VRBO and reported that we were breaking a rule and had VRBO calling us. Then left a very accusing message stating that we were breaking the house rule and would need to remove our dogs from the home immediately. We all flew and did not have pets, they were the goat herder’s dogs that my kids pet when they came in the yard. During the conversation where I let her know who’s dogs they were I asked how she knew about the dogs because the neighbors would have seen the herder with the dogs, she let me know that she saw on the house cameras. Felt watched from that point on.

Very nice log house and property with plenty of room for 4 couples. Beautiful views and very peaceful. I would recommend it and hope to use it again someday.

Beautiful home and area that has everything you need.

Little Bear Lodge was wonderful. My kids, spouses and grandchild all stayed for a week. It was very spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and beautiful view. There were plenty of kitchen items to cook for our whole crew and the bonus was we all fit around the large table. The location was a perfect distance from Bozeman. The family enjoyed hiking, fly fishing, swimming in the river, Bozeman Hot springs, shopping in Bozeman and the Coffee Pot Pottery Shop and Bakery just down the road. Thank you for a welcoming place to come home to each day!

Montana offered so much and with this awesome residence to stay and relax at was an additional benefit. From the house we saw some awesome sunsets, herds of farm raised bison, herds of farm raised cows, and many birds! Located between Big Sky and Bozeman with a short skip to Yellowstone!

From the moment we pulled up and walked into the beautiful and charming house we felt at home. The house had everything we wanted and needed to make our stay memorable. Bigger than in pictures and beautifully decorated. Superb and perfect for family gatherings.

We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful home! There is an amazing large dining room table where we all had breakfast together and then played games together at night. It was wonderful to sit around the table with enough room for all 8 of us. The backyard Firepit area was perfect and we loved the comfy reclining chairs out there. The water pressure in the showers were hard and the water got really hot. We only had one small issue and the owners were super quick and proactive to respond and got it handled right away. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms had enough space to relax and read our books while we were relaxing. The front porch was fantastic to sit out and drink our morning coffee. We also thoroughly needed the little office desk area so we could work while we were there. We would definitely stay here again. The home was beautiful! Thank you!

This was a wonderful home. Owners were very responsive to questions and concerns. Views from every angle in this house. Lots of wildlife. Having 2 kitchens was perfect for Thanksgiving preparations. We will return to see this magnificent property in the summertime.

We had an amazing time staying at Little Bear Lodge, the accommodations couldn't have been more perfect for our group and Melissa was prompt to respond to any questions and needs that we had. My only comment (not really a complaint) would be window coverings on the windows would have been helpful in the rooms since we have young children in our group. However, I do understand the windows being clear of coverings, the views throughout the house were spectacular!

We spent 5 nights in Little Bear and had an amazing experience .. The house was the quintessential Montana experience. Definitely worth the stay..

House was just as advertised and a great fit for our family! Well maintained, clean, and a spacious layout. Strategically located for the various trips/hikes that were on our agenda. One of the best properties were have stayed at over the years.

We had the best time at the property- the house was large, beautifully appointed, and the views were gorgeous! Melissa was super friendly and helpful and communicative. The perfect week away! Would give 10 stars if we could!
