Stayed Jul 2, 2025Wonderful Family Retreat in PurcellvilleOur three-generation family of twelve stayed here in July, and it was the perfect home base for our time together. The house offered plenty of space for everyone to spread out comfortably, and the layout worked great for both quiet time and group gatherings.The large yard was a favorite — perfect for yard games and relaxing- as long as we limited it to mornings and evenings as July is hot in VA :). We even spotted deer a few times, which added a magical touch to our stay.When something unexpectedly broke on the 4th of July, we were so impressed that—even on a holiday—the owner responded quickly and made sure it was taken care of right away. That kind of attentiveness made us feel well cared for.The home was clean, well-equipped, and in a peaceful location that was still close to everything we needed. We made so many special memories and would absolutely recommend this home to other families or groups looking for a relaxing and roomy place to stay.

Stayed Feb 2, 2025While the location is beautiful, this house felt more like a frat pad - very little amenties, plates, utensils and not even a toaster! The dining room table was dismantled. No curtains on first floor master bedroom windows. House is dated, not what I expected from the photos.
