Stayed Jan 31, 2026Really enjoyed meeting the owner, Ken, who was friendly and polite! His dog was friendly too!The place is great with lots of rooms and plenty of space for a large group. Easy access to snowmobile trails and places to “warm” up!

Stayed May 23, 2025The cabin was spacious and clean. The owner came by and greeted. He was super helpful and polite. The cabin was well stocked with. Hand soap, toiletries, dishwasher detergent…you name it. This was the first VBRO stay I didn’t need to run to the store and get some because the owner kept everything well stocked. The beds were also comfortable and my little children had so much fun. The beach front was great and the docks were perfect for the kids to fish from. He let us use both docks which was great since we had 3 fishing boats. There was electricity down by the pier for charging too! The cabin was also close to fun attractions like mini golf, go karts, and horseback riding. Our stay was perfect and I would definitely stay again at Jim’s hide away.

Stayed Feb 8, 2024Jim’s Hideaway is very well appointed and welcoming to large groups/families. The kitchen has everything you’ll need for ann extended stay and some things you’ll probably realize you didn’t! The property is very spacious and beds very comfortable. We truly appreciated being able to bring our dogs along and allow them to enjoy vacation with us. We were hoping to snowmobile during our stay, but Mother Nature had different plans this winter ? Close to many restaurants and even better supper clubs!
