We had a fantastic time at this property. The weather wasn’t the best but we still enjoyed our stay. Was able to take the boat out 3-4 times and enjoyed hanging out and fishing at the house. House was clean with a stocked kitchen. It was perfect for our group of 9. We had 4 adults and 5 kids ages 14-19. Already planning our next stay.

We rented this home because of the pool and boat. It also had two king bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms, one for each couple. This home was fabulous. The view was great and having unlimited access to the boat was the icing on the cake. Relaxing in the pool after a day on the water was an added bonus. We would definitely stay at the Jewel again!

The pontoon boat was awesome and really a great addition to our vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay during Spring Break and have already reserved for next year! The house was clean, well equipped and exactly as advertised. Donna, Jason and Captain Kevin were very attentive and easy to work with! Having the boat was such a nice feature. We were lucky enough to see manatee, sting rays, crabs and dolphins daily. The pool and spa were nice, when we weren't at the beach.

What a great house and location! Manatees and/or dolphins in the canal daily! Clean and well stocked home. Communication with Donna (host) was beyond compare! Boat training was very thorough and informative. We so loved the house and the hosts that we will be back next year!

The location was amazing! The neighborhood was safe and quiet. We loved looking out at nature versus out at other homes. Like many others have said, we were able to see a lot of wildlife from the dock and the boat. The boat was great! We used it nearly every day and had a great time fishing from it. The set up of the home worked well for our family and the kids really enjoyed the pool. We have stayed in many rentals and this was not one of the cleanest. I let the property manager know, but we did not request the crew to come back out. Rather, we did some of our own cleaning to feel more comfortable. Overall, we really enjoyed the property!

Great location

Home was beautiful and wonderful neighborhood. Cleanliness could have been better. Upon first arriving, debris in floor under bar stools. Noticeable enough that it needed to be swept up. Some sort of film on tile floors such as that less than 30 minutes of my granddaughter running around barefooted, the bottoms of her feet were black. Despite myself sweeping and mopping on three different occasions, floor still had film and continued with black feet. Shower floor in ruby room had what appeared to be mold. Air vents in sapphire room were filthy with dust. Accustomed with previous rentals, host checking in after arrival and instructions at checkout. Only communication was check-in instructions and communication about boat. Boat was a big factor in reserving home. Unfortunately two days after arrival and first time taking it out, other than during orientation with captain, steering went out on boat and had to be limped back to dock. Took almost 1 week to have fixed. Paid fee for captain and only able to take boat out twice, including day steering malfunctioned. House was well stocked with paper goods. Kitchen supplies such as cookware sparse but able to make do. Ample plates and silverware. Ample towels, washcloths, and beach towels but no extra bed linens..

(There were no questions to the stares above.) Our stay at A True Jewel on the Water was wonderful. The house was designed well with the bedrooms on the sides and the middle of the house was a large kitchen and setting area. The appliances were all new including a new washer and dryer. The beds were very comfortable. Since the hurricanes had just came through the area, the weather was a little cooler. Donna, the host, had the pool heater turned on. We all enjoyed swimming in the warm water. The boat was a great addition and added some exciting adventures in the open water including going to an uninhabited island and a sunset cruise. Donna, the host was extremely responsive and helpful. We had originally booked another house which she managed. There were several issues with that house which she was very up front with and suggested moving to the Jewel on the Water, which we did. Then two hurricans came through the area prior to our stay. Each time she contacted me referring the situation. The community was quiet. There were parks around and grocery stores were nearby. It’s definitely a place I would like to return to.

The house was amazing. The neighborhood was quiet. It had the feeling of being far away but you are still close to everything. The boat made the trip extraordinary. Would definitely stay here again.

We truly enjoyed our stay in this home. It was well stocked and listing accuracy is mostly correct. The house is a bit dated, and many light bulbs were out including the pool and bedrooms. The home was clean, in a great location, and the boat was the highlight of our trip. No garage door opener as most VRBO homes have, but does feature keyless entry. An extension cord would have been greatly helpful for the shop vac, but we made do. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and made great memories. Firm mattresses throughout home, and they were comfy. We got to see many birds, rabbits, manatee, dolphins, and stingray. Saw many people catch fish from the park diagonal to us. Neighbors were friendly and service staff (yard, pool, boat. Etc) were very kind and professional. The hot tub was a nice addition, and we stayed in the pool a lot. There are exterior cameras pointed toward the pool, which I did not particularly like, but understand the need for security.
