The house is simply amazing, the views are incredible. Loved the staff, they were to helpful and so nice. They provided 5 star service and I am thankful for them making us feel special and safe. Plenty of space, we didn't 3 of the bedrooms. Great for a big family.

Communication with the people who take care of the property could be better. They never contacted me until the day of my arrival. Also, the house's location is not the address given to you. We had to follow the manager for 3-5 minutes. That made me and my family feel unsafe. However, we felt safe and happy once we arrived at the house! The house is gorgeous, with spectacular views of the ocean/mountains! We fell in love with this house! I will come back! The pool is beautiful! You need a car to go to the beach or restaurants or explore the town because the house is located on a hill about 7 minutes away. The manager and security guard were friendly, professional, and happy to assist us with anything we needed! I recommend this house to you!

Overall the stay was amazing. The chef, the pool, the service/staff. We honestly had no complaints. I would recommend this chef at ANYTIME. She always had food prepared and it tasted soooo good, none of my guest complained. (We definitely left a huge tip, she was SOOOOOOOO good) We chose to have massages at the house which was a plus. Horseback riding and surf lessons were the excursions we chose which were amazing experiences. Only minor downfall was the stiffness of the beds, and paying for kilowatt-ages for power. We did have a 2 night stay but only stayed for 1 day (in and out of the house), it’s hard to determine what is actually used by me and my guest, but it was a $50 charge which we paid. Overall, amazing stay.

Our stay was 5 star all the way! The staff were outstanding, took care of every need we had, from special drinks to delicious food. They arrange everything, from massages to mani/pedis, to the best lobster thermidor for dinner. Villa Baleares is everything you could wish for in a vacation and more.

Perfect balance of pampering and privacy. First the pictures truly don't do the home justice. Combine the house itself, with the view and staff and I truly couldn't ask for more. Without question I would say splurge a little more and have the chef/cook services. The seafood was fresh from the sea. Everything fresh and delicious. Mgmt interaction was attentive and respectful of privacy. I have stayed in some fabulous resort villas around the world and this is right at the top with some Four Seasons. Thank you to all!

This is our second group vacation and we couldn't have been happier in choosing this property. It sounds ridiculous, but the pictures don't actually do this place justice. We were blown away as soon as we walked in and saw the views. The place is also much bigger than you would assume from the photos. The staff were friendly, helpful and prepared delicious meals to our liking. Get ready for freshly squeezed and blended juices every morning! We had a diverse list of preferences, some allergies and all was accommodated in each and every meal. If anything there was too much food, but may be that's because we are all not 3 meals a day type people. One thing I would say to anyone coming is try and grab a pocket projector from Amazon, as the wall in thriving room is perfect for late night drive-in style movie viewing. And most importantly, don't be concerned about the safety of Nicaragua. From the airport pick-up to the arrangement of taxis from the house we all felt very safe. The walk into town is doable in the daytime and we did this one a number of times. The house and views were by far the highlights of the trip and made up feel like we were celebrities in Malibu.

The pictures displaying the property are on point, you don’t have feel like you’re being fooled with demo pics because the property is nothing short of amazing. It’s very peaceful and serene where the property is located, it over looks the city and is adjacent to Cristo de la Misericordia and at night it lights up! The staff are there for your every need. They keep the house cleaned and do their best to prepare any dish that you desire!! I give it (4) thumbs up Lol

My family and I have been going to SJDS for years now. No house compares. The moment you walk thru the doors, you’re greeted like family. The attention from the staff is superb. The chef was a last minute decision that we were sooo happy we opted for. It was heaven! The bartender never left us empty handed either, which of course we loved. We can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful house, beautiful location and beautiful people! Couldn’t have asked for a better vacation in Nicaragua! From the moment we arrived till the moment we left, everything was amazing! Highly recommend the cook! Thank you jo-Anne for everything! We will definitely be back!

I'd be hard-pressed to believe there are any better views of SJDS in its entirety than from the pool deck and expansive balconies of this place.....and that's not even the best part! Margorie, Jorlene, Michael and Freddy took such great care of the place and us via meals, security, drinks, etc. Jo Anne knows the town inside and out and worked with us to make this travel experience one of the best of our lives! I really can't offer up anymore superlatives for this breathtaking house and the wonderful people help make it so. -Jordan
