Exceptional Beauty On The Water!! Candlewood Lake - Danbury, CT

The home was gorgeous- comfortable, great set up, family friendly and plenty of activities in the house. We had more space than we knew what to do with (and were lucky with good weather to mostly be out on the lake).The beds were comfortable.

Loved the peaceful views of the lake and convenient location. Comfortable beds and house and great communication with owners !

We had a nice family stay. House is decorated nicely. Outside areas could use some tlc. Being on Candle wood lake was a big plus for boating. We look forward to hopefully returning next year

We were in Danbury for a wedding. Lovely home for our family to be comfortable, together and on a beautiful lake - It was a very nice stay and we would definitely stay there again!

My wife and I used this property for our wedding party to stay and get ready for our wedding at The Candlewood Inn. It was very spacious, clean, and had amazing views of the lake. We all had an amazing time and had plenty of room for everyone. I highly suggest renting this property if you have a lot of friends or family staying with you.

Gorgeous and spacious property with enough space to host 4 families, with great private and communal spaces. We stayed here for 4 nights with 8 adult family members and 2 toddlers. The owner(s) were responsive leading up to and during our stay. The outdoor spaces were comfortable and peaceful with direct access to the lake - we swam, rented a boat and enjoyed time on the dock. A few unexpected things that came up were that the property didn't come stocked with toilet paper, paper towels and toiletries, which would have been nice to know before we got there, but town/stores were accessible. We also had a few cooks in the kitchen who all found the induction oven to be a bit finicky. Otherwise we had a really nice trip!!

We rented this property for a change of scenery and unplug for a few days. We had a great time and the house was everything we needed. The owner was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We went skiing locally on our last day and the owner was gracious enough to allow us to leave our stuff at the house for a late check out so we didn’t have to bring everything to the mountain. The property is in a great location and we will definitely look to come back in the summer to spend time on the lake. We highly recommend the property and the responsiveness of the owner makes it that much better.
