Eventide - Gulf View, Heated Private Pool, Walk to the Beach + Dining!

We loved this house. It was beautiful, the location was fantastic, the house comfortable, the showers so pretty, the pool perfect! I did have an issue with a bathroom being dirty when we arrived. I called and someone came out right away. Also smoke detectors needing new batteries and someone also came. I will say that it says 5 bedrooms. The fifth bedroom is more an office, with a pull out couch. It did have an open window to the entrance of the house so not much privacy for a bedroom. We would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved staying at Eventide!! Beautiful property, perfectly location close to the beach and more than enough space for a large family to relax and enjoy!! We’re definitely coming back!!

It's a beautiful location and very quiet neighborhood and absolutely close to the beach. With that said, paying to have the pool headed was a nightmare. Of course the management company collected the money immediately. When we arrived on Saturday the pool was very warm. Sunday it didn't seem as warm and by Monday it was cold. I called Monday and left a message and never got a return call. We spent all day Tuesday at the beach and didn't swim. I called again Wednesday and spoke to someone about the pool because it was cold and we were having to clean the pool 4 to 5 times a day to keep the debris from a tree that overhangs the pool from clogging the skimmer basket and pool filter. On Wednesday morning when I spoke to the management company I expressed my concern over the pool heat and the tree. They sent someone out who found the heater was off, he was able to get it running again but by Thursday evening it was off again and cold. We called on Friday and they said they would send someone out and would refund us our money for the cost of heating the pool. He got the heat running on Friday and we swam and then departed the property Saturday morning. I called a few days later to inquire about the refund because I got a survey from the company. After explaining to the guy why I was calling he stated that there was no refund processed but he would look into it for me. He came back online and said he could only refund two days because he could only see where I actually requested it twice to be looked it. Obviously this was irritating to me. We went through the time lines again and I pulled up my phone logs and gave him exact dates and times we contacted them. He then said he would refund three days but no more because there was no evidence the pool was out the whole time. We also had the maintenance guy put out roach bait traps while he was there because we found several very large roaches in the house. I get its Florida and there's roaches but it still sucks to find them everywhere. Like i said it's a great location but for over $4K for a week I think I could find a better kept house with less issues.

Property lists heated pool which is the main reason we chose this property for our granddaughter to swim. It rained a lot that week and the pool was really cold. We called to get the pool heated, no one showed or called back, we called again and said the tech came out and it needed a part that wouldn't be in during our stay. If you list it, it should be operable. 48 hours to get service and 24 hours to heat is a stretch when you won't know until you get there if it needs to be heated. We won't be back.

We had a great stay! The bedrooms are nice and roomy. The house was most definitely very clean. A few things for people who are planning a trip to stay there, we enjoyed having a golf cart to get to and from town, which is very close. The golf cart also came in handy to haul our stuff to the public access beach which is just about three minutes around the corner. We rented chairs and that helped secure a place on the public beach in the front. Get there early! Pool was nice, we didn’t use much. They only leave one dish towel, roll of paper towels and one roll of toilet paper per bathroom so make sure to bring some. The Publix down 98 was close and very nice. Groceries are def marked up! Would def return!

We really enjoyed our stay at the SS Minow! The heated pool was perfect for the March weather. Short walk to the beautiful beach and a walk to town with shops, restaurants, and ice cream! We will return!

This is the 2nd time staying in this property and we absolutely love it! 3-4 min walk to the beach through the quiet neighborhood streets and even closer walk to restaurants, ice cream, and golf carts. We walked to downtown Santa Rosa multiple times for dinner and brunch with ease. 10-12 min walk with sidewalks all the way down. We enjoyed the private pool every afternoon to escape the beach heat and would certainly stay here again.

Great experience! Heated pool was perfect for kids. Beautiful location and well stocked kitchen. Really appreciated all of the abundance of nice white towels! :)

Had to go buy a iron. And the pool was cloudy but that was taken care of. And yes we would stay there again.

It was a reliably good week with a ton of good times! Stayed with the company many times and I haven't been disappointed. The late check in is always an issue though. If the cleaning fee was waved saved for early checkout would be awesome. Especially for early travelers. Overall my family and I had a great time. Thanks again!
