An immaculately presented Grade II listed Georgian house in a superb location right in the heart of the chi-chi village of Burnham Market. With excellent facilities right on the doorstep along with stylish, comfortable accommodation for larger groups, family get-togethers and celebrations, Estcourt House is a hard one to beat.

Sympathetically and tastefully refurbished with great attention to detail, this elegant period property really doesn't disappoint. The owners have thought of absolutely everything to ensure you have all you need to enjoy a carefree holiday, be it for a short or longer stay - from a warm outside shower, so handy for when you and your dog return from the beach, to a choice of spacious living areas allowing room for everyone to socialise together or find a quiet space of their own.

The interiors are a creative mix of contemporary and traditional furniture, soft furnishings and interesting artworks, which complement each other and the character of the house. On the ground floor is a warm and homely well-equipped beamed kitchen, an adjoining sunny garden/breakfast room overlooking the courtyard garden, a dining room suitable for more formal 'occasion' dining, a sitting room with ample seating for a full house, and a smaller cosy snug/library with a fire and further television - ideal for a quiet read or to watch the channel of your choice. A cloakroom and utility complete the downstairs. Up the stairs (there are two staircases, neither of which are steep), are five delightful bedrooms (a super-king, two doubles, one small double and a twin), all with sumptuous beds and fine cotton bedding, guaranteeing a good night's sleep, and three bathrooms, two of which are en-suite. Outside, the attractive south facing, fully enclosed and private courtyard garden has been imaginatively landscaped and has pretty night-time lighting enabling you to make the most of balmy nights. Use of the hot tub is available for an extra charge. Please request on booking.

Burnham Market is an all year round destination, with fabulous places to eat, boutique and lifestyle shopping, and art galleries to browse. The beautiful North Norfolk coastline and its stunning beaches are within easy reach and walks along the North Norfolk coastal path are a feast for the eyes, senses and wellbeing.

Additional Information:
Four well behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge).
Travel cot and high chair available on request.
Use of the hot tub can be booked for an extra charge of £120.

The house was very spacious and so well equipped. The kitchen particularly. There was everything you could possibly need for a family holiday. House is right in town so convenient for shops and cafes but was still quiet once inside. The bedrooms are spacious and plenty of storage space. Hot tub worked well and the whole house was spotless. Would highly recommended Estcourt House.

The house is very comfortable and the location in the centre of lovely Burnham Market is excellent. The enclosed rear garden, with a hot tub, is a great place to relax. One small gripe - a BluRay player is advertised, but there is only a rather old and basic DVD player. Otherwise excellent in every way - our second visit.

Beautiful house in a stunning location. The children loved the dual stair case for playing hide and seek, the adults loved to social kitchen and hot tub. Shops in the village are highly recommended as is the park.

Notwithstanding an initial small glitch on arrival (partially Covid related) which was very quickly and amicably rectified by both the agents and the owner; we had a fabulous time in an excellent property which is ideally suited for a large family gathering with young children. And we really enjoyed use of the Hot Tub. The photos very accurately represent the property

This home is lovely, warm, and inviting. The showers were extremely warm and the internet worked well enough. Parking was easy during the time we stayed. I believe we were able to park directly in front of the home the entire time we were there. Unfortunately, the living spaces are a bit wonky. The living room was traditional and extremely narrow which meant watching TV was uncomfortable for more than 1-2 people as you had to sit on the floor or use essentially deflated bean bags. The furnishings were a bit dated as well. The hot tub was a nice touch, but be warned that there was so much chlorine used that it took my husband an entire week to get the smell out of his swimming trunks and hair. Comfort and condition were between a 3-4, rather than a 4, but I didn't want to round down.

We had a very nice abd comfortable stay at Escourt House. The location is perfect for visiting places of historical interest and Wells Next to the Sea. There are pubs restaurants and tea rooms just across the road from the house along with a few retail stores too. On arrival we were greeted with a generous welcome pack which was such a lovely gesture. All in all I would highly recommend Escourt House for a large family group and will certainly be booking again through Norfolk Hideaways.
