TRANSIT / GETTING HERE

Whispering Hollow is about 7 minutes from downtown Eureka Springs (~4 miles north of town).

IMPORTANT DRIVEWAY NOTE:
The final 1/2 mile is a steep, rocky gravel drive with natural bumps and ruts. For the most comfortable and stress-free arrival, most guests strongly prefer a 4x4, SUV, or truck—especially after heavy rain or during winter weather. Many guests do arrive safely in a standard sedan by driving slowly and carefully, but low-clearance vehicles are not recommended. If you’re in a low-clearance vehicle, we strongly recommend choosing a different vehicle for this stay.

DIRECTIONS:
We have large, clear directional signs leading to the driveway—please follow these signs closely. GPS occasionally directs guests to the wrong driveway, so the signs are the most reliable guide. WE RECOMMEND GOOGLE MAPS FOR ACCURATE DIRECTIONS.

Please read the full listing, house rules, and property notes before booking to be sure Whispering Hollow is a great fit for your trip.

It is a beautiful place. I think it should be more clear that the drive would be very challenging for people driving a car especially if it has rained. It is very peaceful.

The house was beautiful with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. We loved watching the birds and squirrels on the deck. We were looking for a low-key, relaxing vacation and that is what we got.

Lots of places to explore on the property. Great WIFI service. (I didn't if we would have a good connection. I highly recommend staying here It was only a couple of mile into Eureka Springs.

We had relatives from Germany with us who requested a place where they could see a lot of nature and wildlife. This place was perfect. Out in the middle of the mountains, yet minutes from downtown Eureka Springs. We saw deer, birds, owls, and armadillos. They lived the craftsmanship of the inside of the home. I wish we could have stayed longer.

The road to get to this property is a bit steep but it was worth the drive! Located every close to Eureka Springs, the house and property was beautiful! We had plenty of food for 3 kids to hang out indoors and I LOVED the glass room where we could watch birds and animals from inside. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen ready for us to cook meals at home. This was a lovely get away for our family! Would be great for a family or girls/guys get away!
