What a gem of a cottage! The hardwood floors, bay windows, and antique furniture and trinkets give it so much character. Our host was awesome, quick replies and easy check-in. Definitely would stay here again!

Staying at the heritage cottage at Forget Me Not Farm was by far one of the best parts of our trip. From the moment we walked in the door, we knew we had found something special. The cottage is full of charm and history - with antique furnishing to explore and interesting artwork throughout. Everything was well-equipped (right down to a full kitchen!) and the beds were very comfortable. Brandon and his family are super great hosts - don't hesitate ask for a tour of the farm if you have time during your stay. We enjoyed our stay immensely and we'll definitely be returning.

A charming heritage cottage near Salmon Arm. The furnishings all fit the period that the cottage was built. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was adequately supplied. You're just off a busy road, so if you're a sensitive sleeper that could be a problem. The area is beautiful - we had a particularly lovely kayak at Gardom Lake. It was 33 degrees when we arrived, and the air conditioner, which is in the kitchen, kept the kitchen and living room comfortable but didn't reach well into the bedrooms. Communication was easy, and once we figured out where were going on the property, check in was a breeze.

It was a unique experience, staying in a historical property. The cottage was so well preserved, and Brandon's family took such care in sharing its history. We didn't miss that it didn't have a tv, that was great incentive to actually share time with each other. The highway noise was high during the day, but once the Hwy 1 work is completed, this should improve to more peaceful level.

Beds were very comfortable and the porch/sunroom in the morning was lovely. The host went above and beyond to get something back to me that I accidentally left behind. The road nearby was a little noisy but my earplugs blocked the noise out with no problems.

Perfect spot that’s quiet to enjoy a nice bbq with friends and relax but still close to the town and lake. We loved the proximity to Larch Hills for the trail system for mountain biking and hiking options. They have an awesome little farm with different fresh options to order, saves you a trip to the grocery .

Cannot say how much we enjoyed our stay here. The house has been preserved much as it was built and we loved that part so much! Brandon and his family were always there for any questions we had. Check in and out was no problem. Easy 5 stars and a must stay anytime we are in the Salmon Arm area.

Brandon was a fantastic host from start to finish and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I had some questions about the cottage before we rented it due to needing some specific accommodations and he was very responsive and friendly even before we booked and that great communication lasted throughout our stay. Check in was seamless and the cottage was so welcoming with everything we needed for our week long stay. It was VERY hot (above 30°c) the entire week and we found the cottage to be pleasantly comfortable and not too hot for sleeping in as long as we kept the air con running and the fan in the master pushing the hot air out with blinds & curtains closed during the day & opened the windows up at night and reversed the fan in the master to push cooler air in. Sitting by the pond looking out at the mountains every morning with our coffee was such a lovely way to start our day and the cottage location was fantastic for our purposes as it’s close to the beach and all amenities without being in the city. Lastly I cannot forget to mention the farm tour & delicious garlic! Brandon took the time to show us around and answer ALL of my questions and it was one of the highlights of our vacation and after smearing some of their garlic (roasted) on sourdough, we had to bring enough home to last a while!!! We can’t wait to see what comes next on the Forget Me Not Garlic Farm & Cottage and we will for sure be back to stay again to find out…if they’ll have us!

Loved the antique details of both cottage and furnishings. Communication with host was good. The cottage was very clean, quiet and convenient for roots and blues. The only tip I would give is the welcome binder mentions a welcome basket from the farm in the fridge, but there wasn’t one. I would have found it thrilling to have some local produce and this would have upped my rating to a 5. Thanks for a lovely stay
