We are moving to the area and wanted more than a hotel experience. This was a stunning location on the lake and peaceful with perfect sunsets. Easy access to any part of Lake Norman. Jeff was an A host! He ensured we were all settled in, had what we needed, and even invited us to his neighborhood gathering!

Host very welcoming. Good communication all around. Great location. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook for a crowd.

A perfect Lake house with wonderful views. Comfy beds, lots of towels, large table for games and puzzles. Well equipped kitchen but new pans are needed. Would definitely stay again. Canoes and kayaks and paddle boat are a great addition.

We had a wonderful week at Escape to the Lake!! This was our second time visiting this house. The check in process was very easy. We were all excited to get unloaded and set up for our lake vacation. Jeff was very responsive to any questions. The house is a perfect set up with 3 bedrooms, each with a full bath. The kitchen was well stocked and large enough for lots of cooking and family time. The beach is perfect for kids and adults to float around. The yard was a great size for bucket golf, cornhole and bocce ball (light up version for nighttime), as well as an easy walk from the house to the lake. The lake is a bit rough with the boat traffic; we anchored off the shore most of the time instead of the dock to prevent damage to our boat and jetskis. Jeff and Amy are wonderful hosts! We look forward to another vacation at their home.

House was very well suited for us and our son and his family. We appreciated being able to dock our boat there, plus having access to a multitude of water toys and equipment. Having use of a couple of big tubes was the highlight of the week for our 10 year old twin granddaughters who tubed for the first time, and loved it! Also appreciated that there were grocery stores nearby.

The entire property is wonderful. Nice large deck overlooking the water. A small beach. Everything you could want being on a waterfront property. It is on a quiet street. Restaurants and grocery are nearby. The house is clean, spacious and comfortable. The property manager is friendly and helpful. Cannot say enough positive things about our stay.

We rented the property while attending a family wedding located in Troutman. A well appointed home located in an excellent location close to I-77, local shopping (Publix grocery 1 mile away), excellent restaurants (Eddies on Lake Norman) and favorite CLT attractions. The home is on a large lot in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful lake views and easy access to kayaks, paddle boards and a small private beach. The owner, Jeff, made us feel right at home. He was consistently responsive to any questions. The only reason for the 4 rating on the listing information is because it lists the home sleeps 10; however, we saw enough beds to accommodate 6 guests (the living room couch may have been a pull out) which would mean the home can sleep 8. The lake is easy to navigate by boat with over 500 miles of shoreline. Highly recommend the property for a family vacation or couples retreat.

The lake house was even better than the listing described. Very clean, spacious and very comfortable. Jeff was a great host with wonderful southern hospitality. Would definitely go back for another stay!

Spent a week at this little oasis. House comes fully equipped with everything we needed as we flew into the area from MA. The water is beautiful, clear, clean, sandy bottom. My young children had a blast! There is a nice sandy beach to relax and play on. Docks to jump off of. Every bedroom suite has its own bathroom which was hugely helpful!! Plenty of room for family games and relaxing. The owner Jeff was extremely friendly and helpful and very quick to respond. Will likely be making this a yearly trip!

We were all very excited for our family trip. The house was perfect for our group size and definitely appreciated every room had its only full bathroom. Jeff was very friendly and fast to respond to any question we had. No need to take any water toys he has them all. We will definitely be going back.
