Escape to the Creekside Hideaway

The property far exceeded our expectations. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area.

Never judge a book by it's cover! This place is amazing! So comfy and homey. Michelle met us as we arrived. The area by the creek was very well maintained. You can tell the owners took great pride in their handiwork. The home itself was very cute. Loved loved loved that we could have our own fire on our own little patio privately. The extra touches to the pet friendly home was amazing! Leo greatly appreciated it!

The home was cozy, the hosts greeted us as we arrived and had already put on calming music for our doggies. The kitchen was well stocked, and the bed was the most comfortable bed I think I’ve ever slept in. Thank you so much to Michelle and Mitch!

We had a great time. The weather was perfect! Our hosts were friendly and we really appreciated the property. It was warm and welcoming when we arrived. The kids loved it and enjoyed the toys and Christmas tree. We hope to stay again when the weather is warm!

We all loved our stay here! The hideaway was clean, cozy and stocked with everything you would need which us adults appreciated.My kids LOVED the yard. Even after a full day of hiking the surrounding areas they had plenty of energy in the evening to use the awesome swings, wander the creek and just play. It was the perfect spot for our long weekend get away. Thank you so much for a wonderful time!

Our stay was great. Unfortunately, we weren't able to spend much time at the property due to our busy weekend. Mitch and Michelle were awesome hosts and very welcoming. Super clean, comfortable, and well equipped for our needs. Really wish we had the time to use the pellet smoker, maybe next time. They even had everything set up for our dog; food and water bowls, a bed with pillows and even toys! Definitely will stay there again!

This property was awesome! Mitch and Michelle have thought of everything you could possibly need and even more. Lots of extras and the owners are close by to take care of anything you might need or any questions you might have. I also liked that it was only 15 minutes from the Olympic National Park visitor center and the road to Hurricane Ridge.

A lovely airb&b! Impeccably clean and tastefully giro. Full kitchen and very comfortable beds for up to four guests. Mitch and Michelle are really nice folks and we would definitely recommend this little gem of a cottage to anyone traveling in this area!

Everything about our stay was super wonderful the hosts had hearts of gold very friendly people made us feel very much at home and welcome it makes us very sad that we had to leave this great beautiful place but we are planning on coming back and booking here once again we enjoyed our time and the hospitality that was given to us if you plan on booking here you will not be disappointed i promise you.

Fantastic place, even better than expected. Mitch and Michelle are great hosts and the cottage is super cute, clean and cozy. They have a beautiful property that is very private, especially down by the creek. You have to try the Night Golf, it was a blast!

We had a wonderful stay while hiking someOf the trails in Olympic National Park. It was the perfect spot to rest afterwards and has an added bonus of the creek area with corn hole, horseshoe, swings and beautiful fire pit area.

This is the most amazing property. It really felt like home for the few days we were there. The hideaway had everything a person could want for a truly great stay. And when it says dog friendly - it really is. Dog beds, dog toys and even towels for dogs. We loved it so much. Would definitely go back again in a heartbeat.

Cottage is cute and comfortable. Property is beautiful. Spent time relaxing by the creek. It was very peaceful. A nice retreat after all the hiking we did.

This place was perfect for our 3 day weekend! It was a rainy and muddy weekend of biking, so having access to a washer and dryer was awesome! The owners are very friendly, laid back and very responsive. My golden loves the stuffed elephant that was a gift from them. She also loved the food she probably ate when she went through their dog door and into their house . Sorry about that and the fact that I accidentally stole their syrup. The kitchen was very well stocked. Beds were comfortable. A very pleasant stay overall!

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy and well supplied house. They welcome and cater to your furry pets. Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to enjoy the creek or property, due to rainy days. Perfect for our short two day stay.

We were in the area for a family members birthday. The property is wonderful. We have dogs and they loved the stay also. If you book here read the property owners diretions. Can be diffocult to find.

This property is so much fun— the creek access is great. They have thought of everything: hammock, tree swing, night golf, horseshoes, fire pit. Hosts live on the property and were friendly and helpful. The house itself is comfortable and clean. The linens and bed are super soft, which our son really loved. We were traveling with a ten year old and one year old and they both had a blast. Easy drive to Hurricane Ridge and Salt Creek Recreation Area Tide pools. Two nights here really wasn’t enough.

Lovely hosts Michelle and Mitch (and their dogs!) greeted us at check in and gave great recommendations for things to check out in the area. We hiked hurricane hill and the views were breathtaking. We would also recommend Oak Table cafe for breakfast! Such a lovely weekend and our first trip to the peninsula!

We loved our stay at the Creekside Hideaway! The place was clean with everything we needed. The best part is the hidden creek at the bottom of the property, make sure you make time to relax at the creek! It's beautiful!

Wonderful place to stay near Olympic National Park! Michelle is extremely welcoming and responsive. There area is private, with its own grill and fenced-in patio, large comfortable bed, and plenty of amenities. Highly recommend staying here!!

Everything about it this listing is completely understated— this place is freaking magical. The comfiest king sized bed we’ve ever slept on, everything you could need in the kitchen and more. A fire pit and a traeger grill on a private little patio, but the real treat was the fire pit down by the creek, the hammock, the swing, the private sandy beach… and our incredible hosts Mitch and Michelle (Gemma & Coco too) made our stay extra special. Thanks for sharing your amazing slice of heaven with us! Would definitely book with them again.

We loved our stay here. Michelle and Mitch are the best hosts- we enjoyed meeting them and their pups, and enjoying the beautiful property and all it has to offer. We only wish our stay had been longer- we were exhausted at the end of each day in the Olympic National Park, but we loved having access to a fire pit, and stream, and hammock and swing for relaxation. All the little extra details in the house make it clear that they really care about their guests.

After staying in a nearly a hundred vacation rentals all over the world (US, Europe, Mexico, Canada) we can honestly say that we have never had better hosts than Michelle and Mitch at their Creekside Hideaway in Sequim. Because we were going to be in the area for a month, we wanted something special and this VR is definitely that. While the rental itself is very roomy and extremely well equipped—it is the Creekside area that is a real treat. The hosts have created a park-like setting with chairs around a firepit, barbecue, the most comfortable swing on a tree you will ever find, a relaxing hammock, a 5-hole golf course (really!) and a horse shoe pit. There are also two separate sitting areas with chairs overlooking the creek. Magical. The house has just about anything you would need for a long or short stay. Open floor plan and very roomy. And anytime we had questions or needed something, Michelle and Mitch were easily available. They live in a separate house on the property but were not obtrusive in any way. On one day Michelle brought us a bowl of freshly picked cherries! The private patio (with table, four chairs and barbecue, and fire pit was very nice for sitting outside the house and socializing. Property is about half way between Sequim & Pt. Angeles. Plus access is a bit awkward off the highway onto a dirt road. But once you know the way, not hard. Plenty of parking. Overall a great stay and we highly recommend.
