Charming early 1900s home with clean, spacious rooms and a nice backyard near downtown Danville. Walking distance to hospital, coffee, restaurants, shops, Finn's ice cream. We didn't use the kitchen much in our visit but it had everything you might need to cook. It was perfect for our family.

This is a lovely home with lots of space. There are 4 large bedrooms and the kitchen is fully stock for those that like to cook. There is beautiful front porch as well as a nice backyard to relax at the end of the day. The host is very responsive if there any questions.

Our stay at the 1906 Carey House exceeded our expectations for sure! This house has so much character and vintage construction balanced with the current day's conveniences. This one will be our first choice in the future when we visit Danville, KY

This is a lovely historic house with nice antiques and very comfortable beds. Each room has a distinctive character, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. Every bedroom had a TV, which was terrific. The fenced backyard space and the back sun porch were particularly nice features. The house is on a busy street with fast traffic and some nearby commercial buildings. While it doesn’t have a quiet neighborhood feel, it is extremely close to Main Street and downtown, which was convenient. When you’re inside the house, you don’t hear the traffic. The host was responsive to all our needs with good communication. We enjoyed our stay at this property very much.

We had a very positive experience with the weekend stay at this property. Located within walking distance to the main square/Main Street and had fast, clear, and positive communication with Patricia (host).Enjoyed the charm of the older elements of the structure.

Stayed at the Carey 1906 House for a friend’s wedding in Danville. Perfect spot for my husband and I and two adult sons. The house is beautiful, extremely clean (always important for this neat freak), has all the amenities you could need, cozy breakfast nook for morning coffee, large tv in den for watching the Celtics lose in the playoffs, lounge chairs in private yard for reading a book and sunbathing, plus a front porch to hang out. The arcade games were a fun surprise (I got 2nd place score on Galaga!) Close to beautiful Centre College campus for a nice walk and only 10 min walk to several restaurants downtown. Overall an A for our family! (And cheaper than staying at a hotel!)

The house was lovely. It has a great enclosed back porch. Bathrooms are a nice size and showers have good water pressure with soft towels. We walked to restaurants that served great food. Shopping was not as abundant as we thought it would be. We didn't realize the house was situated between two busy roads and more in a business district than a neighborhood.

We had a great stay from out of state for a wedding. We loved the 4 bedrooms with comftable beds and 2 baths. The house was spotlessly clean with a homy feel and plenty of parking in the back. We would have loved to stay longer

We so enjoyed our stay this weekend. The home is beautiful and has everything you need to feel right at home. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and loved having the fenced in back yard and grill. The location was perfect- we were there to visit with our son who is at Centre. Would love to come back!!

This was the perfect place. The home was large, clean, equipped, and all around GORGEOUS. The location was a little out of town but a 10-15 minute walk to downtown and a 2-3 minute drive. The home was spacious and well kept. The kitchen and closets were equipped with everything we needed and more. Everything worked well, looked beautiful, and was a great historic home stay. The owner was communicative and available, even though we had NO issues. The fenced backyard with the grill was fun to relax in, and we drank our morning coffee on the front porch. We felt safe and at home. All the amenities were as if we were in my own home. We WILL be renting again if it is not sold.
