Stayed Jul 14, 2023This was a cute and fairly well appointed studio and we found the bed quite comfortable. I suggested to the owner that they include a toaster, which I thought was odd to be missing considering how well it was appointed otherwise. The owner was friendly and responded fairly quickly to any queries but miscommunicated with us the first day what the check-in time was which caused us some drama as we had expected to get in an hour earlier to be ready for a wedding rehearsal that evening. It is important to note there is no air conditioning but despite high 90F/30C days we found the place cooled off well at night with all the windows open and sleeping was fine. They provide a couple of fans to help the process too. I guess my biggest disappointment was I felt misled regarding the view from the patio. The photo in the ad and description of the property as being rural led me to believe I would be looking across a grassy feild toward the mountains as I had my morning coffee on the patio. To some extent you do get this view but here are fences and vehicles and all sorts to look through before you see a mountain. Kind of took the shine off and I felt misled. We did have a mumma deer visit with 2 little fawns one morning and it was overall a very quiet place so not all bad.

Stayed Nov 27, 2025This was kind of a last minute trip to Missoula because weather was favorable and traveling with our lab is sometimes challenging. We have stayed in studios before only to be somewhat disappointed upon arrival. This was better than we expected. Very clean and a bit outside of town, but as Eastern Oregonians we always enjoy seeing wildlife. The 4x5 mulie buck at our door as we got back the last evening was a bonus. This is an excellent place and on our short list for places we stay in Missoula when visiting family. We would highly recommend.

Stayed Jul 27, 2025The only downside was there was no AC, but it wasn’t bad with the fans. They did say they were gonna do some changes soon and I’d hope that’s one. Other than that our stay was excellent! Great communication with Hope. Very nice quiet setting for us and our dogs. The bed was very comfortable and you have everything you need. Will definitely stay here again when we’re back in Missoula.

Stayed May 27, 2025We stayed for a few days at the end of May. This unit is set up like a studio apartment, built within a detached garage. (Garage is not visible within the unit.)It's a good space for a few people (max 3 I'd say). Kitchen is well-situated. Big table, big couch. I think the bed is a full-sized.The area around the unit is beautiful. We even saw wild horses and deer! That said, a few things I want to note for those considering this during their next trip:--The host has a dog pen set up right outside the unit. This was not mentioned in the listing. They keep two dogs there most days. Neither of the dogs were friendly to us, barking sometimes for hours.--The unit has bare concrete floors. Can get uncomfortable if you're not used to that.--There is no air conditioner. That's only an issue in summertime of course. It does have a ceiling fan, but we found it did not cool the unit down very well.If you want someplace outside of Missoula proper, with big mountains and lots of green space, it's a place to consider. I'd suggest going in Spring or Autumn.

Stayed Aug 28, 2023My husband and I were very impressed with the property. Owner was very nice, apartment was very close to the city but seemed like we were in a rural area. The deer just roamed freely in the yard. We would stay here again and recommend it to friends and family. The price was very fair also.

Stayed Apr 1, 2023Gorgeous views. Comfortable bed. The couch is great for relaxing and watching a movie or a nap. If we needed anything Hope responded within seconds of a text. Loved having morning coffee on the patio and taking in the breathtaking view. A short drive to town and University of Montana. You will definitely enjoy this getaway!
