Lorna was very welcoming and checked in to mske sure we had everything we needed. The place was very cute and we loved being able to walk to the beach to watch the Sunsets. Loved our stay!!

This place was perfect for me. Kitchen fully equipped. Spotless. Bed very comfortable and pillows just right (not often the case so I usually bring my own - but no need here!) Quiet, peaceful, ten minute walk to the beach, highly walkable area, 15 min walk to a fabulous outdoor swimming pool. Delicious Italian restaurant 2 min walk away. I look forward to a return visit. Great place! The location is so close to the beach, and very easy to get to from the airport. Everything was clean, very spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Excellent accommodation. We very much enjoyed our stay in Santa Monica and this property offered everything that we needed. The beach towels, beach chairs and sand toys were an excellent feature.

The suite was clean, well equipped, and a 15-minute walk from the beach. However, there are a lot of hills, so we ended up driving there. There is a large, inexpensive parking lot at the beach for 2.

Very walkable and appealing neighborhood, even though very close to busy Lincoln Blvd. Well furnished and supplied, except for tiny sofa bed, suitable only for a child or short and small adult. Pleasant porch to sit on. Lorna is very communicative, friendly, and accomodating.

Lorna was a gracious host. Check in was very smooth and clear. The fully outfitted residence was beautiful and better than the pictures. We were very comfortable here. Loved the keureg coffee maker! All of our questions were quickly answered. Located in a great neighborhood with lots of charm.

Extremely well appointed with amenities and thoughtful accessories for the beach. Description is accurate and personalized welcome with helpful info was appreciated. Only reason for not highest rating for comms, was timing mismatch when seeking late check out. If we come that way again, I'd re-rent.

We liked the location, easy walk to beach and the Main Street shopping and restaurants. Fun to walk through the neighborhood too, all the architectural styles, felt clean and safe. The place had enough space for two, and there was some outdoor space as well. Inside was clean and full of light, the bed was comfy, the kitchen had all you could need. And if you did need something, Lorna was very happy to provide, very friendly and responsive to questions.Good place to return to after a busy day!

Beautiful property. Among the best we've experienced with VRBO. Ample space. Very comfortable bed. And plenty of kitchen staples and other incidentals included. Ready access to local shops and beaches. The hosts were gracious and timely with communication. Highly recommend.

Delighted with property. Great location, friendly host,clean and well stocked with basic essentials.

Host was very nice. But we had a lot of issues with our stay over the holidays, unfortunately. Host scheduled painting of the whole exterior during our rental time, told us about it a few days before we traveled, and gave us a small discount to compensate. We would have much rather not had to deal with the mess and inconveniences like having the windows and door taped and covered up, no use of the lovely porch sitting area pictured, having to walk under ladders, and around equipment, etc. In addition, one night the wall heater wouldn't work and we had NO heat. The next day when the host came to fix it, we found out the bedroom was supposed to have a space heater which we definitely would have used the previous chilly nights. Location for us was great, parking easy. The unit has a lot of potential if given more attention to detail and if host's rental commitment is given priority over scheduling repairs.

We came in for a stay for a couple nights for a Chargers game. Check in was super simple. Bed was comfy. Parking was easy. No issues at all for our first trip to California. Be aware to anyone out of state that smokes. It is a bit of a challenge. Plan to go for walks lol. But 5 star review. House was awesome.

Lorna thought of everything. I’m a pretty thorough packer but she provided everything I needed. Enough hooks and surfaces to put things on. Comfortable and decorated in a neutral style. I didn’t have a car and it was a longer walk than I expected to find fun shopping areas. I had a great stay!

It had everything we needed. We would stay there again.

The location was really good for both getting to the beach and heading north to LA. Check in was easy, the parking permit was great to have and the house was very nice! Highly recommend booking here.

Cute and clean property. In a nice neighborhood away from the busier part of Santa Monica and close (10-15 min walk) to Main Street with restaurants and beach (better beach than near Pier). Communication with host excellent. Perfect for up to 3 people. Teen slept in couch futon; fine for a couple of nights but perhaps small for taller teens/adults. Window AC in bedroom and window fan in main space (kitchen/futon).

Perfect for our needs on this trip- walkable neighborhood - close to beach and restaurants-host is very accommodating- clean and well stocked. We would definitely stay here again!

Lorna was especially responsive to any additional requests. Her place is fantastic, fabulous home in great walkable neighborhood with all very nice amenities and yet cool things like old tub bathtub to maintain history of the home. Very nice kitchen, extremely clean and well organized with thoughtful touches like beach chairs, towels, beach bag. We will stay here again and again. Thank you Lorna!

My wife and I had a great time staying here. Very close to the beach and it’s a quick drive to Venice. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay in the Santa Monica area.

Great location for a wedding I was attending. unfortunately the bed was very hard and I woke up with a backache. For that reason, I won't rebook this location

Beautiful one-bedroom apartment, not on the beach but close enough to walk, very well-kept property. Owners live in the same building, and were very friendly, personable, and helpful. All instructions were clear and the apartment was available exactly as listed in Vrbo.
