Enjoy your piece of paradise

This was our 2nd year staying at this beautiful spot. The lower apartment is spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. The residents and other renters are all very friendly.

My family and I rented Pineapple Paradise 1 for a week in July. This was the lower unit of a multi-story home. The unit was clean and overall comfortable. However, there was no sound proofing between the units and we could not fully enjoy the unit due to a barking dog, the sound of furniture moving and children running around above us. The noise went well into the evening on multiple nights. In addition to the noise, my husband had to change multiple light bulbs, disconnect the beeping fire alarms and wait overnight to receive batteries for them. We were a family of four and did grill on the public beach after verifying with a beach employee that it was allowed. The grill was fully enclosed and sunken into the sand. The following day we felt harassed after the property manager questioned us on having a bonfire on the beach. The property manager refused to answer any of our concerns/questions regarding who would know where we were staying from a public beach and make these false accusations. Based on our treatment from the property manager, we ensured the property was spotless upon departure. Two days following our departure we were contacted by property manager stating that the cleaners reported damage and our deposit would be held. Fortunately as a security measure, I took photos of any damage to this unit upon check-in. We left this unit spotless which is why we were beyond frustrated when they contacted us on this issue. The issue was resolved since I have photos proving the damage was already there. The property manager did not inquire about the incidents but assumed blame. My family loved this area and will return. New Smyrna is a great location to enjoy the beach and other activities however, would not stay in this unit again or recommend it to others.

Spacious, comfy, very clean and well decorated.

We really enjoyed our stay in the bottom apartment. Our neighbors above were friendly and our access to the beach was perfect. The apartment was nicely decorated and very spacious. Would highly recommend it!

This is a lovely beachfront property, first floor apt, is close to shopping and restaurants, either by walking, riding a bike or by car. The interior decor is coastal and very comfortable. The unit is well stocked with cooking and eating utensils. The king size bed was comfortable, and the extra linens/ towels and onsite washer/dryer were a plus. Look forward to returning in 2021!

Enjoyed our stay here for two months. We were fortunate to have a good neighbor upstairs as you share a home. This lower level apartment is located right at a public beach access so very easy to walk out to the beach and very walkable to many restaurants and is also part of the driveable beach. We plan to return next year.
