Stayed Jan 30, 2026The house was excellent. We were able to walk into town, and it is a short drive to the mountain. You can even walk to the mountain shuttle in town. The house was perfect for me and my adult children. The house was very comfortable. We were able to use both showers with plenty of hot water at the same time giving us extra time after a day of skiing!

It was ideally located; just a short drive to most of the hiking trails and Olympic venues, and only a 5-minute walk to the heart of town.The house itself had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The amenities were top-notch, and we loved how peaceful the setting was, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Whether we were cooking meals together, relaxing by the fireplace, or enjoying the surrounding nature, this home was a fantastic place to unwind.We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Lake Placid. It truly made our vacation even more special!

Stayed Jun 27, 2025The property was excellent. We planned an extended family vacation and this house really fit the bill. Enough rooms and beds for everyone and a great open floor plan for the kitchen/dining/family area. We used the fire pit for s’mores and the grill for burgers, and the stove and oven. Such a great setup we didn’t even need to eat out (which is a task with 9 people). Even better is the location, just a short walk to mirror lake and town. We really only used our car for the grocery store and adventures. By far everyone’s favorite vaca activity was paddle boarding. We highly recommend the outfit close to the public beach. There is an excellent grass area to launch from and just enjoy. We had a blast!

Stayed Jun 1, 2024What an amazing property. Perfect place for family getaway. short walk into town or to the marina to rent boats. walked around Mirror Lake every morning right from the house with a stop in town for coffee/breakfast. would definitely stay here again.
