Enjoy Fabulous Views at This Rental on Happy Hill! Pet-Friendly Too!

The view is wonderful. The house was very comfortable. The yard nice. A few more condiments, ie: coffee, cooking oil, tin foil, would have been nice, but not a deal breaker.

We came up to Cambria with another couple for my birthday. Both couples enjoyed our own bedroom and bath on different levels of the home. We were able to sit and enjoy the mornings with a cup of coffee and the evenings with a glass of wine looking out at the gorgeous view of the ocean. It was perfect.

This house has a beautiful view of the ocean! It was very clean and in a nice, peaceful neighborhood. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

Easy close location to town with a partial ocean view of moonstone beach. The house is VERY DATED and in need of updates, repairs, maintenance, deep cleaning, and DE CLUTTERING. Filled with 1950 to 1970's JUNK like a garage sale. It is loaded inside and out with tons of cutesy clutter. The Garden is a joke, filled with a jungle of mismatched plants, uneven steps and cracked concrete, poor lighting, uninviting seating areas & a small dank mosquito pond.NOPE

It's on a hill, giving you the feeling that you're in the pines, and is overlooking the south end of Moonstone Beach. The beds are extremely comfortable! The kitchen worked well for us.The master bedroom and bath, living area, kitchen, screened sunroom, and views are on the upper level. There is a small bedroom downstairs, laundry, and a very small serviceable bathroom. The house may be entered, from the garage, through the downstairs bedroom, and up a flight of stairs. If you have trouble with stairs, you may walk around the side of the house up a paved steep path and enter through the front door. The master bedroom and bath are on this level. There are 4 stairs with a handrail to the kitchen, living, sunroom area.The yard worked well for our dog. It was a wonderful vacation home!

It's been updated since the pictures were taken and it much better-- New TVs, granite countertops, etc.It's in a great location and easy to access.Some of the reviews complained about stairs. If you access the house from the left and into the back yard, there are no stairs. Other reviews complained about musty smells. That's gone if it existed. Also they provide a box fan to cool down if needed.

With several inviting spaces to relax, you can choose the solarium with ocean view, or the garden with succulents and unique curios. Close enough to the beach to hear the surf. A very short walk to town and all that Cambria has to offer. We ate at Las Cambritas (Mexican), Luigi's Pizza (they don't skimp on their toppings), and got take out from Wild Ginger (described as Cal/Asian). We wine tasted at the Hearst Winery north of town on Highway 1--a bit pricey but worth it for the view of the San Simeon pier and bay. This is definitely our go to when we return to the Central Coast.

The rental needs more airflow from the ocean. It is too closed off and can get stuffy

5th time staying here. It’s a perfect little home. Dogs welcome and safe. People extraordinary. It’s always just what I need to refresh and rejuvenate. Thank you Breen for a first class experience, always.

The house smelled of mold, even after several days of airing out. Many uneven trip hazards throughout the house , patios snd walkways. Iron stair rail is loose and wobbly. The second bedroom is located in dank dark basement area. Guest occupying this room bitten by bugs while sleeping. We left three days early as experience so unpleasant snd disappointing.

Difficult to get in from parking area. Steps and slanted. Steps inside very steep to washing machine. Steps were slipper from living room to bedroom. Dog walking on streets was challenging due to traffic. Toilet paper was difficult to retrieve, toilet seat loose. I’m not nit picking, we rated this at the bottom of the rentals we have had, not only in Cambria but half dozen other towns. Sixth location in Cambria was very disappointing. They do have a good view from one corner of the living room.

Cambria is a wonderful time. The view from this property is amazing, there are places to hang out for all weather conditions- nice outdoor patio for when it’s sunny and warm, partially enclosed sun porch for when it’s sunny but cool, and fully enclosed sun porch for the windy or rainy weather. Easy walk to moonstone beach or town.

Lovely weekend getaway for my wife’s birthday.House is clean, quiet , and perfect proximity to Hearst Castle , where we went for 2 tours.

Overall very nice! Quiet and clean. Only complaints were poor lighting and very noisy heater.

Great fenced outdoor area and nice ocean and moon viewing. Space was perfect for us. We are planning on renting again. Prop Mgt company was great - always very responsive to email questions.

Very tidy, cute, comfortable house, perfect size for two people. Great ocean view. Easy walking distance to town of Cambria and the beach. Good dog-walking neighborhood!
