Enjoy Eco-Friendly Montauk Living

My husband and I were lucky enough to stay at this house for the month of June this summer, hosting our parents and friends for a few days. The location was only a few mins from the main town and beaches, quiet with friendly neighbors - ideal for those looking to get away but still have easy access to all the things Montauk has to offer. The house was absolutely amazing - very clean, felt newly renovated and decorated with plenty of room for guests and an incredible deck where we spent days lounging and dinners grilling. The yard was ideal for sunbathing and relaxing by the firepit in the evenings. Was a plus the house came with bikes and beach chairs, as well as laundry in basement! Victoria was an ideal host - super communicative and very helpful when needed. We definitely hope to return!

The house was fantastic. The description on the website was spot on. My sister and I decided that we would like to get away together with our families and this house was perfect. It is neat and clean, well-appointed and felt homey. It is close to all the happenings in Montauk. The owner was responsive and easy to work with. We enjoyed it very much and recommend it without reservation.

The description of the house is accurate and actually better than anticipated. All rooms clean and orderly and the home is very well decorated. All appliances and mechanical aspects of the house were in good working condition. The owner was very courteous and easy to deal with. We kept a boat at a nearby marina and the house was very convenient for us. It is close to downtown and easy drive to IGA store and other nice restaurants. I would definitely recommend this property and we look forward to staying here again in the very near future.

Summerwind is a beautiful house, and even better than the pictures suggest. Everything has been recently redone and the location is great. We would certainly recommend it!

I stayed at Summerwind in July for a week and then again in August of 2013. I found the home to be all new, clean, well kept and comfortable and is all that Montauk has to offer. The owners are easy to get in touch with and are anxious to please. WIth Montauk Downs Golf Course and Pool only 3 blocks away and the beaches less than a mile away it is the perfect summer get away. And for those who enjoy sport fishing like myself, all the marinas are close as well. I highly recommend Summerwind and look forward to staying at this property again in the future.

My husband and I rented this house in July 2013. Despite a record-breaking heat wave, we were very comfortable. Everything in the house is new and it is less than one minute away from Montauk Downs, where we swam and played golf and tennis. We also joined the Body Tech gym which was a fifteen minute walk away. The owners did a wonderful job of decorating, making it very inviting and homey. They were very hospitable and anxious to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The deck offers a lovely, breezy spot for dinners and my husband used the outdoor shower the entire time we were here. What I particularly liked is the ease in keeping the house clean and the lack of clutter that often comes with summer rentals. I would highly recommend Summerwind.
