Great place, lake view, responsive host. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials, including high-quality cookware and utensils. The attention to detail in the decor and the thoughtful touches throughout the space made it feel like a home.

This house was beautiful and suited our needs perfectly. Great separation of bedrooms allowed everyone to have their own space. The view was fantastic! The only thing we could have wished for was access to the Dollar Point beach as the nearby local beach was closed from 11 to 3 everyday for a camp. We would gladly have paid a small extra fee to access the Dollar Point beach, pool, playground and other facilities. The next time we rent at Tahoe we might look for someplace with beach access. We found all supplies and facilities to be first class. Overall, we had a wonderful week! Thank you.

We had 4 adults, 3 younger kids, and 2 little ones under two years old. We loved the location of the house since it’s so close to the shops and the water and the view from the deck was very nice. The house itself is a bit older and a little noisy if you are downstairs. A few things I would have appreciated for the price of this home is access to more hand/bath towels, paper towels, and toilet paper but I did read that those things were very limited. The railings on the top bunk beds were very loose and the glass side table was leaning from the lamp sitting on top of it which felt very unsafe for the kids. Overall fine stay but recommend more for people not traveling with young kids or babies. I did really love the check in/out process and how easy they made it.

Great home: lovely kitchen and view and living/dining room. Master bed very comfortable. Downstairs roomy and very clean. On the downside: Problem keeping home heated and cool as multiple windows would not close. My 79 year old husband could not use the master shower as there is a 1-2 foot drop into it - needs a shower bar for support. Also, we could not access the Dollar Beach or Community Center due to being renters. Luckily, our extended family owned a home there - which allowed us access.

We stayed in this lovely home during the pandemic and the fires plaguing Northern California. The basics are great for normal times; unfortunately we had to leave early because there is no A/C in the house, and the heat and smoke were too intense to have the windows open. Even in normal times during the summer, however, the house would benefit greatly from some ceiling fans. There were standing fans available for every room, which we appreciated, but the main room/kitchen has no air circulation. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen is very well stocked and modern, and the location is terrific for summer fun.

Overall we had a wonderful stay. The place is beautiful and very family friendly. The deck and view are amazing. It was unfortunate that the week of our stay they were paving all the roads in the development so for the entire week there were trucks moving all around and the smell of asphalt. Our street was closed one of the days to traffic which was problematic. In addition, I'd much rather pay more and have regular use of the facilities such as the beach and tennis. Having to go to the HOA office every day and pay an additional $80/for a total of 8 people was a stress we didn't need. The 8 person rule is also unfortunate as the house sleeps more. It is a cheap and stressful part of the stay. It would seem much easier to include the wrist bands and simply have the nightly stay be more expensive.

The home is well appointed, very clean, beautiful views. We had a wonderful time and would most definitely return. The only issue was that 5 minutes before check-in we were informed that the oven was not working. We had several family dinners planned since we were celebrating not only Father’s day but also a birthday. When I contacted the manager she offered a portable oven which I didn’t want but accepted after all (ruined 2 cakes and a lasagna using it) I inquired if I would receive a discount since we had to plan extra dinners at restaurants her answer was very inappropriate-not a quote but what she said was basically that most people want to have the issue resolved not make money out of it-wow, never expected that, so out of line! I got a call 5 days into our stay offering to have a service person over, at that point we didn’t want to deal with any more disruptions. I perfectly understand that appliances break down-but was very disappointed that it happened right before our stay and affected our use of the house.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing vacation rental experience at Enchantment Dollar Point! Two moms and four teen and pre-teen sons. If anything, there was too much room for us (the boys loved the bunk room) but the home was one of the most well-appointed homes in which we've ever stayed! Panini maker, coffee bean grinder, blender, ice cream maker! The kitchen was amazingly well-stocked. Also the location was fantastic and the views were spectacular. The management company was fantastic as well. We highly recommend this property!
