Emma's House-Historic House 'On the Hill' in Saugatuck

The house was clean and very pleasant the Christmas Decor was a nice touch.

Location was ideal only a short drive or walk to downtown. The home was older yet charming and we felt we had plenty of space for our group of 5 adults. The host was communicative when needed which was appreciated. We noticed there was not any shampoo or body wash offered in the bathroom and a bath rug should be added. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay!

Great for families. My three year old loved the toys. My teens like the movie selection and the fact they could walk downtown. One block from restaurants shopping and a playground. Furnished with historic style but also cozy for kids.

great space, parking was an issue the city's no parking removed the on-street parking included the instruction. so no designated spaces. It was disappointing there was no access to local tv stations.

House was adorable!! Everything was very clean, neighborhood was quiet, all shops and dining within easy walking distance. Aron very responsive to any questions i had.

Emma's house is a lovely property with all the amenities one could need. We rented the whole house and found the extra apartment just right to give each couple plenty of space.

We absolutely fell in love with Emma’s House. The home is conveniently located within walking distance to downtown. Emma’s House is thoroughly equipped for families and children. It truly felt like home. Aron was a wonderful host. Very responsive and caring. We will certainly return. We loved that there were deer families roaming the neighborhood.

We enjoyed our stay and its proximity to the restaurants and shopping.

This is the second time we’ve rented this space and it is perfect for our needs. We are a family of 6 and one of my daughters has two young children so the apartment space was a perfect oasis for them when they needed their naps and some quiet time. Being connected to the rest of the house made it easy for everyone to gather for meals and relaxing. The main house was perfect for the rest of us. Plenty of kitchen supplies and cookware. Plenty of towels. The outside tap (that also had warm water!) for rinsing off sandy feet and the spacious yard was just what everyone needed to unwind and have a great time together. We love Saugatuck. Thank you!

We loved having two kitchens and the sweet front porch to chat on. Overall a great stay and very easy communication.

We rented Emma’s house for our wedding party to stay in during the weekend of our celebration! The house is incredible, especially if you are in to history! The hosts were friendly and responsive and we had everything we needed for our stay! Convenient location walking distance from all the fun of downtown Saugatuck, we were super comfortable, and we were dazzled by the beauty of the house itself! We would absolutely stay again!

Emma’s house is quaint and nestled into a quiet, peaceful neighborhood a short walk away from shops and eateries. It was stocked with lots of dishes, toys, etc.Clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay.

We had a great stay at this beautiful house. Family and friends stayed with us and there was plenty of room for us to visit and relax. We were pleasantly surprised by the little box of toys and books for my young children. The old stairs are steep but there were a couple baby gates provided which was very helpful. The front porch was so peaceful- we loved enjoying our morning coffee in the rocking chairs. Frank’s apartment was very spacious for our friends who were able to have their own space when desired yet be connected to us and join in the festivities as they pleased. The house is a short walk to downtown which was so nice to go back and forth for meals, shopping and kid naps. The host provided basically everything we needed besides groceries which was so ideal! For the next trip we book to Saugatuck, we definitely plan on booking this house! Well worth it

Our son got married Friday and three of his sisters and families and my wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. It was very comfortable and allowed us plenty of room to not be crowded.

This house was great for our quick weekend away to Saugatuck. It was within walking distance to every thing we wanted to do or see. We had 7 adults and so much room. All of us saved it so we can try to visit again witb our families!

Perfect for a golf weekend. Clean, big, and very quiet location for being so close to the down-town. Had a great stay and will be visiting again if we are lucky enough.

We needed a larger place to stay for our daughter’s wedding. This place was perfect! We couldn’t have asked for a better place. I wish we had more time to explore the town more. However, the local restaurant we ate it on Friday was fantastic. We needed a large place close to Holland. Thanks for having the perfect place for our family!

Clean and spacious. The owners put in a lot of thought with instructions around the house. There are plenty of board games, chairs, space, yard games, etc. Highly recommended!
