Elegant Waterfront Bay Home

The home was perfect for our family as we navigated my father-in-law’s lengthy hospital stay. We had various family members visiting for over 2 weeks. Sitting on the deck provided a calming place to start our mornings or recap what happened during a long day at the hospital. Cooking and enjoying cooked meals was so important to us. Amazed to see flocks and flocks of geese make their formation of flights each evening. Last of all, we greatly appreciated the ease in which Rose let us reserve additional days as needed. It’s a beautiful get-away that we hope to enjoy next summer with our kids and grandchildren. Thank you Rose for opening your home to us during what became a very difficult medical journey.

This is a quaint cottage with very lovely bay views. Some parts of the house have been remodeled and some are older, but it's still comfortable in all the rooms. We were there in summer during a hot period and the AC worked well. The kitchen has the bare essentials. The deck is nice and has a table with chairs, and a big sun umbrella. There doesn't seem to be any ladder or steps for getting into or out of the water.It's only a short drive to the beach and Seabreeze amusement park. The location is a bit unusual, in that the place to park is by the road and then you have to walk a short distance to get to the house. But, it didn't present any problem for us - there is parking for two cars.The host had good communication before and during the stay.We would definitely stay here again.

The property was very nice. Our guests enjoyed our stay. Great bay views on the very nice deck. The host was very responsive. The only small issue was that parking is a little tight.

We enjoyed our stay in this home. The living space downstairs gave our older kids a place to hang out while the adults were upstairs! Overall a great location!

We found this lovely bay home when looking for a place to stay for my daughter's graduation from U of R. It was perfect for what we needed! Lovely spot on the bay, lots of places to sit outside, a wonderful deck for morning coffee and happy hour, and beds for all. It couldn't have worked out better. The ride to campus was easy and it was nice to be a little bit out and away from all of the activity. Rose was absolutely wonderful. She quickly responded to all of my questions, provided detailed instructions for parking and arrival. And her gardens are beautiful! Rose had graduation decorations out for my daughter which was such a lovely surprise. All in all I highly recommend this wonderful spot!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the waterfront bay home. The house was clean, as advertised with excellent communication from the owner. The location on the bay was fantastic.

Lovely time at this property. Owner was fantastic to coordinate with. She helped to accommodate us at short notice. House was comfortable, clean and spacious. No a/c but we lucked out with cool nights during our stay. The dock could use a little love but we enjoying using it.

We loved the beautiful waterfront home. The location was perfect and the house and grounds were expansive clean and well stocked with needed items. We loved the hot tub and sitting areas. It was quiet and very family oriented as well.The host Rose was extremely accommodating and accessible. Parking was limited to 2 or possibly 3 cars but overall a memorable vacation with family.

Very nice, comfortable, quiet home located right on the bay. We had a great time and the owner was easy to communicate with and very accommodating.

Really beautiful location; confusing and inconvenient parking; gorgeous grounds. Check-in & out process should have been sent ahead of time. Renovation and decor is nice; convenient two kitchens; although the bathrooms should have a semigloss paint to prevent mildew; and the ceiling in upstairs bath has dirt and debris all over, and a calcified shower head; windows sills need cleaning as when we opened windows, they are covered in bugs and cobwebs; gaps in screens and doors allowed bugs to get inside. Although this home is listed as no-pets, there have definitely been cats here. My husband is extremely allergic to cats and he had a reaction every time we were inside. Directions on how to access the house by entering the code and then turning the knob would’ve been helpful. If you like sleeping on a hard surface with hard pillows, these memory foam items are for you. Not comfortable at all!! No air conditioning!! This was miserable on the warm nights staying here. I can’t imagine what a summer day would be like. Flat-iron grill was rusted; we reached out to the host who said the grill was seasoned not rusted. Having owned cast iron skillets, I can tell you it was not seasoned, but rusted, it needs to be cleaned and re-seasoned. We could not cook on it. Hot tub was severely over chlorinated so it was unusable; probably because the owner instructs tenants to add scoops upon leaving. Cheapest thinnest toilet paper. We had to haul our own trash; no dishwasher. Overall ok
