Mt. Crested Butte, Colorado
Beautiful 2-story, 2000 sq. ft. 4 bedroom 3 bath condominium with beautiful view of Crested Butte valley, ski-in/ski-out, at the Crested Butte resort. New carpeting throughout just installed, with marble counter tops in kitchen and bathrooms, light and airy design. New living room sectional ! Internet just updated.
The main floor has 3 bedrooms: a living room, dining area, kitchen and 2 full bathrooms with jetted tubs. There are 2 huge king beds and 2 queen beds, and 3 queen pullouts, 2 in the loft. Downstairs is a king suite, a king bed with queen pullout, a queen bedroom: upstairs is a loft with 2 queen pullouts, a full bathroom and a separate bedroom with a queen bed. Every room is 2 stories high, as the rooms go up into the gabled roof of the building. Look up and you'll see the beautiful wood beams in every room.
You walk into the condo(no stairs.) However there are 12 stairs from parking to the building. no stairs once inside. It is the topmost unit (no footsteps overhead), but is entered as though on the ground floor as the condo is on a hillside. Store your skis in a nook just inside the front door. It is truly ski-in/out and has a beautiful view of the valley. There's a foosball table in the loft, great wifi. In summertime there are grills just outside.
Large fully stocked kitchen, real fireplace with tons of wood for free just downstairs (don’t forget to open the flue! Bring Firestarter!)
We have a large hot tub down 2 flights of stairs in a huge cedar lined room to the right. Sign up for it outside the hot tub door in the morning and it is ALL yours in the evening. There is also a sauna.
We do have a free shuttle in the winter – 2 of them. If you are tired or want to go to town just call them. The office will send them to you during office hours, but it is best to get their phone number so you can use them after hours. This is a wonderful door to door service. They run from 8 am to midnight.
There are 4 tv's. two are hooked to directv - the large one in the master bedroom and the even larger one in the living room. In the queen bedroom downstairs there is another that is has a dvd player. Upstairs there is one that is hooked to game controls.
Parking: Two spaces of free parking are automatic.
There is a chair lift to ski to from the condo, so little ones will have no trouble. If they are never evers, call the shuttle! The run down to the condo at the end of the day from the top of the mountain is the prettiest on the hill, with almost 360 degree views of the whole valley (called “oh be joyful”). The best sledding hill in Crested Butte is right next door . Although for little ones it is best to go to the Nordic Center – it is free.
In Fall, especially September 15-October 15 the leaves on the Aspens are a riot of color. Fishing, golfing, biking, and hiking beckon everywhere. For mountain bikers, the Upper Loop starts a few feet away.
There is so much space around this building you will feel like you are in a cabin. There is no building above you or on either side.
Summer, Fall and Winter: In winter, completely ski-in/ski-out. The ski school is right next door, as are two lifts, Peachtree and Westwall. You could literally ski into the condo at the end of the day if you could ski on wood.
Take the lift to the top and hike or mountain bike down! The fishing is great, and river rafting/canoeing is a must. Try Crested Butte in summer!
Local Area: Enjoy skiing, mountain biking (the center of mountain biking in Colorado), wildflower viewing tours (plus festival!), hiking, fishing, mountain climbing (awesome!), sledding, cross-country skiing, kayaking in rivers (also awesome), tennis (courts are in the town for the community - the balls Fly! because of the altitude), golfing, river canoeing, ballooning, river floating while fishing (a must), snowmobiling, rafting, horseback riding, dogsledding, camping, backpacking, shopping, and really, really fine dining.
Crested Butte is a wonderful recreational mountain town, a half hour out of Gunnison. It has a western feel, yet is very sophisticated. It is in a beautiful, untouched area of Colorado - a welcome break from the crowded resorts like Aspen or Vail. The ski trails are awesome, the whole beauty of this place will carry you away. Hot Tub and Shuttles are only in the winter.
Covid 19 - We have instituted many safety protocols to keep you safe - including using the same kind of ozone machines to kill virus on surfaces. The ozone machines will be run before AND after rentals. Currently we are spacing 2 days between rentals as well. We are also providing socially distant check-in by leaving arrival packets taped to the office door, so guests do not have to enter the office.

This was an amazing condo in a beautiful location. Stayed together with family for a wedding. Everything was wonderful from a 'like home' standpoint. Towels, beds, pillows all great, and BLANKETS... didn't need them, but there were a ton. But OMG, the stars at night!! Big dipper right in your face from the balcony, and the milky way visible from parking lot - incredible! Crested Butte is a great destination and this room is amazing.
The property manager, and office staff were incredibly helpful and friendly! The condo was not ski-in/ski-out for beginning skiers, and the pictures of the property make it look more spacious, and well kept than it actually is. We were a bit disappointed for the amount of money that we paid, and what we received once we got to the condo. The condo is outdated, small, and not set up to adequately, and comfortably accommodate the amount of people it sleeps.
Everything was perfect. Take advantage of the shuttle provided by the condominium. We missed that on day one… For the win!
kitchen was not super clean when we arrived, a lot of dishes needed to be re washed. condo is pretty dated and could use some better finish work like paint and such. runner carpets throughout were hazardous, we pulled them up instead of tripping on them. humming feeders were so cool. upstairs bed not comfortable but the rest seemed ok
For a small family reunion, we had four adults, one teenager, and one child stay here and worked out perfectly! The place is laid out such that everyone felt they were in the same place but not cramped on top of each other. It was located close enough to walk to the base of Crested Butte (and hike to the top!) and just a quick drive down the hill to the town.
The condo was very comfortable for 6 adults. We spread out so everyone had their own bathroom. Not thoroughly cleaned. Radiators quite dusty and bathroom with someone else's hair. Overall very comfortable. The entire condo needs paint and an update, but again comfortable. The Ski in/out is not for a beginner. Otherwise ok with a short walk. The shuttle service is stellar. Quick and friendly door to base with a call. We loved Crested Butte skiing. I would rent this condo again.
We did a father-son ski trip with 4 families (8 people) and really enjoyed the condo. We had groceries delivered and stocked before we arrived and the owners were gracious enough to let us in early so the boys could get in a few hours of powder. The condo service is Amazing and provided shuttle service of the highest quality along with advice. Everyone was so friendly and they always made sure we had what we needed. Thank you for a memorable trip on some biblical powder!
Visited CB with a couple couples/friends. Ski-out was a short walk to the top of a short ski run down to the West Wall Lift. Ski-in was right to the top of the stairs by the parking lot. Condo complex is older, but thought it easily justified the price. Kitchen and bathrooms are very well stocked and made cooking away from home not feel like a chore. Hot tub sign up process is easy, but being indoors it felt like a lobster pot after 30m. Didn't use the shuttle at all. We would recommend the unit and stay here again.
All ten of us give the condo great marks! It was perfect for 2 families, with plenty of space for all the kids. We loved the game room and board games available also. The kitchen was well equipped and the location was great. It was so easy to ski out to the lifts and home at lunch and the end of the day. When we needed it, the shuttle was available and the drivers were so kind. We used the shuttle for ski school and a few trips to town. We would rent here again!
Nice unit with good room for four unrelated adults. All the bedrooms have kings/queen, no twins. We managed well with 6 gentleman utilizing sleeper couches. Very convenient to the mountain and nice views of the base from the deck. Unit was very well outfitted with various sundries and household items. Would recommend it highly.
Perfect for a family of eight. Ski-in-ski out was so convenient with a 4 and 7 year old first time skiing. Leaking toilet was replaced as soon as maintenance could find a replacement the next day.
Very spacious, great fireplace and nice access for ski in / ski out. Will definitely look to return in the future!
