Location, location, location! This two bedroom slope-side condo in the Crested Mountain complex is a true ski-in/ski-out destination, and the location can’t be beat! It sits directly on the ski slope of Crested Butte Mountain Resort, above the base-area. Just walk out your door, around the corner, and you ski down to the base-area lifts! No walking up to the lifts while carrying all of your gear from this place. When you are done skiing, you just ski directly to the condo without going through the base area, and you can also store your skis in outdoor ski racks provided by Crested Mountain complex.
This premier location also comes with incredible views. Watch the skiers and snowboarders right from the windows and balcony in the condo. Enjoy your beautiful view of Mt. Crested Butte and the gorgeous surrounding mountains. You’ll have a prime view from your balcony of the leaves changing in the fall, the wildflowers blooming in the summer and of course the snowcapped mountains all winter. We love this perfect location so much that we have two units in the same building -- ideal for families or friends traveling together. The units are next door to each other.
The condo is set up on two floors. You enter by walking up 2 sets of stairs and then you open the door into the main living space. There is a fully-stocked kitchen with all new appliances, countertops, a dining space, living room, half bathroom, and balcony area. A large flat-screen TV sits above the gas fireplace. The living room has two leather couches and one of them is a pull-out sofa bed. The balcony, just off the living room, is on the 2nd level of the building which provides both privacy and an unblocked view of the mountain. It is the perfect spot to watch the New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade and the spectacular fireworks shows that Mt. Crested Butte puts on several times a year. You can also enjoy all the outdoor summer concerts that Mt. Crested Butte puts on at the base of the mountain, right from the balcony.
The 2nd floor of the condo has two bedrooms with separate BRAND NEW bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size bed with a brand-new mattress and bedding. The bathroom for this room is en suite and is equipped with a combination shower and Jacuzzi bathtub. The guest bedroom has two twin beds all with brand new mattresses and bedding. The bathroom for that bedroom is accessed just across the hall and is equipped with a shower and a new stackable washer and dryer for your use. All towels and linens and blankets are new.
To relax after an incredible day of skiing or biking or hiking, you can sit in the building's outdoor hot tub. There is also a grill right next to the hot tub area where you can grill out. The hot tub is open seasonally – in the winter it is open from Opening Day to Closing Day on the mountain, and in the summer it is open mid-June through Labor Day.
New in 2017, the Crested Mountain complex has had a complete facelift on the exterior, a new hot tub area, a new look, and it is beautiful!

There is parking for 1 vehicle UNDER 19 FEET. No trailers or RVs are allowed at this property due to town regulations and/or HOA covenants. No pets are allowed.
The minimum age for all persons in this property is 25 years, except children (of all ages) with their parent or legal guardian.

CRESTED MOUNTAIN PARKING POLICY.
Due to minimal parking available, no more than one vehicle of any kind shall be kept, maintained, or allowed on the exterior of the Crested Mountain Condominiums owner’s garage for each residential condominium unit.
Vehicles may not exceed 19 feet in length, measured from the front bumper to the end of the vehicle, including trailer hitches and bike carriers. Regardless of vehicle length, the end of the vehicle may extend no further than 20 feet from the garage door. For example, a vehicle that is 19 feet long must be parked no more than 1 foot from the garage door. The purpose of this rule is to ensure that each Unit’s parking space is not obstructed and that there is enough room in the parking lot so that each parking space in front of every garage is fully accessible by car.
Each vehicle must have a parking permit that is clearly displayed and visible from the exterior at all times while parked on the premises. The parking permit must contain the following information: (1) the Unit number, (2) the phone number for the current occupant of that Unit (the person who has the keys to move the car), and (3) the name and number of the Property Management Company for the Unit.

I have been visiting this resort for over 40 years and this is by far the absolute best location. With young kids, it was super convenient and perfect for both quick trips out and full days on the mountain. The unit was very comfortable and had just about everything we needed. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen was very well stocked with a variety of pots, pans, utensils, etc. for all our cooking needs. Communication from the property owner was clear, timely, and very helpful. We have already booked our next stay!
Always a great location for skiing in crested butte
About as convenient as a ski-in/ski-out could be if you're looking for fast/easy access to the slopes!!!
We have stayed in many different condos in the Crested Mtn. Complex. The owners have installed beautiful granite and flooring. There were also hummingbird feeders on the porch which we really enjoyed! Owner was responsive to questions asked. I deducted a star for the following reasons: The stairs leading up to the condo are in poor condition. The stair noses on the inside steps overlap with the flooring, which I consider a tripping hazard. I would not feel comfortable with a toddler or elderly person going down the steps unattended. Another thing that would be nice would be travel toiletries stocked for each visit. There are tiny bars of soap supplied, but “community use” shampoo and conditioner as well as bathroom mats. In these days of covid, I don’t want to use shower items and bath mats used by other people. The shower curtain could use a change as well. The towels/bed linens/pillows/mattresses are all very nice. Appliances are updated and the kitchen is well stocked. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The location can’t be beat! Thank you for letting us rent your condo!
Honestly this is the absolute best location you could ask for. 100% Ski in Ski out, if someone doesn't want to hit the slopes or go back early its no problem, they can watch you come down the mountain. Condo is in great shape, New appliances, great beds and plenty of room to stretch out. Communication was great with property management before, during and afterwards! You won't regret booking this condo!
This is her second year to stay at one of Jennifer‘s condominiums and our seventh year in Crested Butte. This condo is in the perfect location for in and out skiingAlso, of all the places we’ve stayed, Jennifers condos are the best stocked and most comfortable beds.
