This one of a kind property offers you stylish tranquility.
Situated on 17 quiet acres, a sandy creek runs along the property with hiking trails & fishing.
Enjoy the massive wrap around porch or stay inside with the entire family to cook in this chef's kitchen with all Thermador appliances and a 19 foot bar which flows seamlessly into the living area so everyone can hangout. Cuddle up on the oversized couch to enjoy the views or a nice fire.
When you're ready, head down for a swim with a short walk to the Whitesand beach and take a dip in the always cool creek.
By the end of the evening, gather around the fire pit, roast marshmallows and make everlasting memories with the family.
~The Space~
The house is centered around a very large living/kitchen area.
On the main level, each side of the house has two bedrooms with a Jack and Jill bathroom in the middle.
From the living room, there is a spiral staircase which leads to a large loft which can be used as an additional living area or an office.
On the other side of the living room, is a staircase which leads to a private room that has a couch and a bed.
Outside you will have an oversized screened in porch which overlooks the river.
The porch of the house wraps around the entire house, with French doors leading to it from the living room and two of the bedrooms.
~Guest Access~
Guests will have access to the entire property, except for the shop and the other residence where the groundskeeper lives.
~Other Notes~
Please keep in mind that this property is in the middle of the woods in south Mississippi and while we do our very best to deter wildlife, some critters are to be expected in and around the house.
Also note that because the property is located on a river that every once in a blue moon, the river rises and may prevent access to the house. Luckily, we have Mike, the groundskeeper, living onsite who keeps an eye on these things and will let us know when to be alert for this. If this ever happens during a stay, a refund will be issued for any nights the water prevents access to the property. Again, this rarely happens but it is a possibility due to the location.
~Guest Interaction~
Guests will not need to interact with anyone during their stay but we are here to help if they need anything.
Mike, lives on the property and is there incase of any emergencies and we are always available to answer any other questions via phone or direct message!

Beautiful property
Our stay was extremely nice and everyone enjoyed the seclusion. It was very peaceful and nice
Had a great time outdoors. Very comfortable property
Stayed there again this month. Nice place
Our family loved the property! The house was perfect with lots of room to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed for all of the family we cooked and entertained. We were visiting from out of state to see our niece graduate. We celebrated her with a crawfish boil and the yard and outdoor areas were perfectly suited for it Janet is a wonderful host. She is super responsive and always available via text. We arrived late so she had the lights on for us as well as wine and a cheese plate and farm fresh eggs laid by her chickens. The trails were fun to explore and we enjoyed the games in the house. Highly recommend this property!
Wonderful place, very relaxing. Fresh eggs every morning! Thank you Janet.
My company is a Utility Contracting company from New England and we went to Louisiana for Hurricane Ida Restoration. When we arrived in Baton Rouge we had no where to stay and were sleeping in trucks for several nights due to the lack of hotels. We reached out to the owner of White Sands via VRBO and made the reservation. There were 10 of us that stayed at the house for a week. The owner got back to us promptly with answers to any questions and made sure we had everything we needed. When we arrived we were tired and missing home. The house was amazing and full of character. We each had our own place to sleep which was a HUGE hit with the crew. The bathrooms made you feel like you were in an upscale hotel. The open layout allowed us to cook dinners and watch football games to relax. I have stayed at a lot of VRBO's personally and this one is in my top 3. The owner was so nice and responsive. If I am ever in Southern Mississippi or eastern LA I am definitely going to try and stay here again. Again, thanks for everything.
We had a group of ladies that went. It was very nice and relaxing. The creek was beautiful and definitely a good place to spend the day.
