Elegant home on Tahoe's beautiful west shore; quiet & close to Trails and Beach

Our family of ten had a great time. The home was very well stocked, clean and perfectly located for our family’s Tahoe trip during 4th of July. The host was incredible and very attentive. He made himself available for questions and was quick to respond. We would love to stay here again!

The house is very comfortable, great living space, roomy bedrooms. The 2nd living space was a great spot for the teens/young adults to hang out. The house comes lots of games. The host Sandeep is an outstanding communicator and a very kind person.

This house was perfect for our two families (8 total). Access to the private beach and amenities was a highlight! The owner is very responsive and attentive. His communication is timely and was clearly geared towards making sure we got the most from our stay.

Perfect for our family of 3 generations!

Large, well appointed property set in forest location. Great for large family or three couples. We've used VRBO over 20 times and have never had a more helpful, cooperative host. Just a fantastic guy. Just a note, there is no cable TV service but wifi is strong so we all brought up laptops and accessed our tv remoely. The upstairs also gets warm in the afternoon. All said, everyone in our party really liked the property.

Property was exactly as advertised! It was super cozy and perfect for our 2 families (w/ 4 kids ages 4-14) to SIP during this pandemic. Nobody wanted our vacation to end. Plenty of linens/towels and well stocked with essentials. The bed I slept in was so comfortable, I just didn't want to get out of bed in the mornings. During the day, we enjoyed sledding right on the side of the house and then in the evening, enjoyed the Foosball and ping pong tables. Sandeep was very accessible and quickly responded to any questions and even went above and beyond in providing any answers or suggestions. Especially LOVED the check out procedures...so simple (whereas other places have all these requirements that may take hours to complete e.g., stripping linens, washing and putting away all dishes, etc.)

We stayed while skiing. Sandeep was great to work with. We enjoyed the home, plenty of space for our three boys and us, very clean and comfortable. The garage was tall enough that our van with Thule bin on top fit just fine. The boys enjoyed sledding outside every day.

Our stay at Sunnyside over Thanksgiving was very delightful. The home is well taken care of and Sandeep is a super attentive host. He was helpful before and during the trip with advice and support. He definitely went above and beyond to make sure we had kitchen equipment to make the fun meals we had planned and saved us from needing to bring more stuff from home. It was so kind. The home is really lovely. Our kids adored the downstairs and turned it into kid area. We played countless hours of foozball and just enjoyed the beautiful views. Upstairs was so easy with the open plan with a large space and good acoustics so we could all be together and doing different things and hang out but not be on top of each other. The kitchen is well stocked, the linens are nice, there's a good dishwasher and w/d. There's plenty of room in each bedroom. The only consideration is upstairs the shower/bath is off the master. The hall bath is a 1/2 bath. This didn't bother us - we're all very close friends so no big deal to get shower/jacuzzi bathtub time. Or to use the full bath downstairs. The neighborhood is lovely and the kids did some sledding right by the house or we walked 5 min to the natural space with larger hills. It was so peaceful and beautiful. A short drive to Tahoe City with plenty of amenities. We didn't go to the ski resorts but several are a short drive away. You can tell the care that goes into an owner managed place. The place itself was well cared for and the support from the owner was beyond what any management company will give.

We had a perfect week in Tahoe staying in Sandeep’s beautiful home. With 4 adults and one child, we had plenty of room and privacy with the 4 bedrooms, two main living areas (one on each level) and especially enjoyed the deck, high ceilings, huge windows, proximity to hiking trails, and very comfortable beds. With the large and well-equipped kitchen we were able to prepare all of our meals and enjoy them at the table with seating for 8-10. Such special memories made during this much-anticipated vacation! Sandeep was extremely helpful and responsive before, during, and after our stay, and we found the house stocked with everything we needed and more. Each day we enjoyed the private beach and pier access, which is just a short drive away. I walked to extensive hiking trails, including the Rim Trail, and my husband biked most days. The neighborhood in quiet, private, and relaxing, and just a few minutes from Homewood for winter visits and Tahoe City for grocery runs. Since we were meeting my parents (in their mid-70’s) for the first time in 8 months due to COVID, we were focused on everyone’s safety. Not only did Sandeep ensure that the cleaners completed their cleaning two full days before our arrival, but they also left windows cracked to ensure adequate ventilation during those 48 hours. Our family felt very safe as a result. The house was spotless, with comfortable couches and outdoor furniture including a wonderful hammock. Sandeep’s home stood out from the other places in Tahoe where we have stayed — those were managed by larger management companies rather than owners and unfortunately it showed in the cleanliness, quality of furniture, and overall comfort and appeal of the other lodging. We will absolutely stay at Sandeep’s the next time we visit Tahoe!
