Elegant Cape Coral Retreat with Lanai, Grill & Prime Location

Our family had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful, spacious, clean home while our son was recovering from surgery. The neighborhood was quiet- we loved walking in the early mornings to see the burrowing owls. The beds were so comfortable and the big TV in the living room provided a lot of entertainment. We would most definitely stay again.

Nice house. It would have been much nicer if the owner had equipped it better and paid more attention to the details. The kitchen was minimally equipped. Fortunately, we didn't do much cooking, but being there for nearly a month, it became an inconvenience. There was no BBQ, no vacuum cleaner, no TV in the master bedroom. In all fairness, we were impressed with how quickly management rectified these last 3 deficiencies. What was not rectified were the leak under the kitchen sink and the broken, pointy cabinet knobs, which turned out to be safety hazards. Our conclusion is that, if the owner were to invest a little time and money this could be a very nice Vacation Rental, and we'd be happy to give it 4 to 5 stars.

The House accomplished all expectations

House is very nice and clean. Appreciated that they provided started dish soap, detergent, and others. They responded to our needs quickly. House needs a few essentials things such as a hairdryer or even an iron. The kitchen is lacking a few essentials. TV was complicated to work. Dish did not work correctly. Other than that it is a great house.

The house is spacious and in a very quiet neighborhood. Great for morning jogs and central to several destinations in the area. However, the place doesn't yet have all the basic amenities. The waterline to the frig isn't connected, so no filtered water or ice. An ice tray would be nice. There are only 3 beach towels (we were a family of 4). It would be a nice touch to have some beach chairs for those who arrive by plane. There is no recycling bin to bring recyclables to the curb. The info in the notebook isn't correct- garbage day is on Tuesday, not Thursday. The Direct TV is the bare minimum, not even CNN or ESPN, with no option to purchase on demand. The pillows are very thin with no options in the house beyond some very stained ones in the closet. A couple of broken handles on the drawers in the kitchen- the broken handle on the silverware drawer is quite sharp. No problem for adults but this would be a hazard for small children. The house and location are great, but there needs to be a slight investment in the amenities to make it an ideal vacation rental.

Very nice house in a local neighborhood. Loved how the backyard was fenced in. Gave us very nice privacy.
