Elegant 5-star home right on the beach

We had a Love/Hate relationship with the property. The location was awesome with breathtaking sunrises and unrestricted direct views of the ocean. The home is spacious and the layout was really excellent with basically two master bedrooms it made entertaining very nice.The owners genuinely cared about our satisfaction, were very responsive, and did everything they could to make our stay pleasant.The first few days were trying as is often the case with a VRBO. The home was generally clean, but the dishes were dirty, we had ants in the pantry & kitchen, which they sent an exterminator for, I had to clean the tracks and put down dry lubricant on all the sliding doors, as the doors would not budge when we got there. We had to replace the air filters on both furnaces as they were filthy. The house smelled musty and they had electric air fresheners trying to mask the stale oder. We basically re-cleaned the entire place, but understand we are a bit obsessive. The beach access is fine, a short walk down the driveway and a shared sidewalk with all residents, although not being direct anymore, it is not nearly as convenient. The pool was kept clean and was set at 80, so very happy with that.They had new lounge chairs but the rest of the outdoor seating was old, some broken, poor quality cushions, etc. They had new beach towels & umbrellas. The furnishings are not what you expect in Florida, they appear to be all brought from up north, heavy wood antiques.

the host never gave us the check in info and we couldn't stay in the house. this after a 7 hour drive with two dogs. we ended up staying in a hotel and driving back the next day. Vrbo said we had a 5900 credit to use but we had to use it that day. that eas an impossibility as we were on the side of the road at 5pm with no place near where we rented available. if VRBO had any class they would have extended the credit due to our terrible experience,

Several issues with the house, there were electrical outlets hanging out of the wall in the bedroom, exposed wires hanging out of a receptacle on the patio and found the receptacle laying in the back yard. Jacuzzi hot tub would not work, sent host a text and was told Anthony would be calling me and never received that call, also if you took a bath in the Jacuzzi Tub it took several hours to drain. Another disappointment, which was my fault for not researching the property better was we were under the impression we could walk directly down onto the beach but when we arrived there was no direct access, but again that's on me. Outside grill could be updated. As for Vero beach there just wasn't anything we found fun for the kids to do so we left two days early and went to Orlando.

My family and I booked this home for a family trip. Upon arrival, the home had a broken glass window and a shutter that was about to fall off. On the side of the home there were bags of trash that had not been picked up in days. All a

Great owner and property, relaxing stay

Owner needs to update pics on website so you can see what you’re really getting for the price. The house itself is super nice with the exception of the bad smell as you first walk in and needing a few updates, dirty grill, rotten patio furniture and lizards that we watched run around on the inside walls of the master bedroom, we had everything we needed and more than enough room. Nice pool. The one thing that would’ve been a deal breaker if we had known was not having direct beach access from the house.We had to walk down driveway and then up a long path, when we finally got there, there was a steep sand embankment with a rope tied that you had to hold onto and almost repel down to beach. Elderly parents & carrying gear & a 5 month old was not fun or safe! Wish owner disclosed this in his description but I guess I understand why he doesn’t. We still enjoyed our time together.

Our family loves this beach house. We have stayed there now 6 times. We hadn't been for a few years and came back this year and felt like we'd returned home. There have been nice upgrades to the living room furniture and seating/tables outside. It was VERY clean upon arrival with fresh flowers waiting for us. We are a group of a few adults, teens and younger kids. We've been coming here since all the kids were babies. It perfectly accommodates a large family. The proximity of the pool and the house to the beach is perfect. The pool was very clean and a perfect temperature. There were quite a few beach toys our kids enjoyed. It was our first visit since the new condos next door went up and we barely noticed they were there. The steps to the beach were removed a few years ago but there is still a clear pathway for direct beach access. The younger adults and kids had no problem with it but it was a bit steep for the Grandma in our group so she stayed at the pool most of the time. :) The host Anthony is so kind and is always happy to answer questions and address any concerns asap. We have no complaints. We can't wait to come back again soon!!!

This is a beautiful property with all the amenities. We decided early on that we’ll rent this again. Next time, we won’t forget our golf clubs for the complimentary round of golf.

Five of us gathered in this beautiful, expansive house right on the beach close to Vero Beach restaurants and shopping. Large, well equipped kitchen for cooking together. Lovely pool that we used every day. Difficult access to beach because there are no stairs down the dune. Also, numerous things needed updating like towels and bed linen, as well as beach chairs.

The house is very spacious and perfect location to restaurants and shops. The view of the ocean was beautiful from the back patio.
