Here is a detailed floor by floor description of the house

This 8 BR/7 full and2 half BA, three story home features an elevator* and private heated pool*. This luxurious relaxing retreat has three well appointed master bedrooms, which is perfect for a multi-family vacation or a large family reunion where luxury, comfort and enjoyment for guests of all ages are the key components of a great vacation.

One flight up to the first floor is the great room consisting of living area, dining area and kitchen. Beautifully and professionally decorated with great attention to detail is the living area with overstuffed leather chairs and sofa, and a built in TV, DVD and bose stereo over the gas fireplace. With near floor to ceiling windows on two sides, the dining area is beautifully enveloped with views of palm trees and woods.

The dining table seats 8, which is great for that special, sit down dinner. If more seating is required six breakfast bar stools flank the oversized granite kitchen center island. The large kitchen features beautiful custom cabinetry, gleaming appliances and is fully accessorized, which will add to the enjoyment of being in the kitchen, even on vacation. Off the great room are the first two of many balconies, which in this case overlooks the pool and side yard.

Down the hallway is the first master bedroom with a king bed and tray ceiling, a flatscreen TV. This the first of three master bedrooms and has access to a private balcony and private bath. Also on this floor are a hall half bath and a laundry room.

On the second floor up is the second master with a king bed, private bath, whirlpool tub and separate shower and access to a private balcony overlooking the pool. The third and fourth bedrooms each have a king size bed and private bath with shower. The fifth bedroom has a queen bed and has a private bathroom with shower. The third, fourth, and fifth bedrooms share a larger oversized balcony, which is great for star gazing, or a congenial cup of morning coffee.

The third floor up offers the third master bedroom and the seventh bedroom. The third master is a true luxury suite featuring a king size bed and a stunning marble master bath with a spa tub and luxury shower with multiple shower heads. The private balcony off this master offers a wooded and salt marsh view and even a glimpse of ocean.

The seventh bedroom is a great one for kids as with 4 double beds and a 55 inch tv and a private full bathroom.

The eighth bedroom is on the ground level with a 55 inch flat screen television and a set of full over full bunk beds with access to a half bath.

Overview of The Singleton Beach Community

Although the home designs may be reminiscent of traditional Charlestonian architecture, the Singleton Beach Community is actually one of the youngest seaside communities on Hilton Head Island. Located mid-island between Palmetto Dunes and the Marriott Surfwatch Resort, there is no shortage of things to do in the area. Whether you choose to make the scenic walk to Collier Beach (approximately 700 yards) or take the beach shuttle*, old and young alike are sure to be pleased by our beautiful white sand beaches and relatively small crowds year-round. When it’s time to take a break from the sun, be sure to drop by “Coco's on the Beach” to grab a refreshing frozen drink or a quick bite to eat- all without leaving Collier Beach! Aside from the beach, Chaplin Oceanside Park is located a mere 100 yards away and houses a multitude of tennis courts, basketball courts, bike trails, baseball diamonds, and soccer fields, as well as a playground, dog park, and restrooms. Finally, when the day starts to draw to a close, why not top off the night by enjoying some of the finest waterfront shopping, dining, and entertainment** on the island at Shelter Cove Towne Center, just a short bike ride or drive down the road (1.5 miles).

Property was very clean and spacious, especially for our large group that we were hosting. Unfortunately, we weren’t prepared for the lack of linens that weren’t mentioned in the booking. We all had to go out and buy our own. Not sure if this is resolved, we mentioned it to the host. He was very kind and reimbursed us. I would just be prepared and bring your own blankets.

Needs blankets, did not have even one blanket. Master bedroom on second floor was like a freezer. Most of the bedrooms did not have dressers for your clothes

The house was perfect for our girls weekend the rooms were perfect and there was a lot of space. The pool was not heated when we arrived and they did try to fix it but it was not warm enough to enjoy. We informed the host and he refunded us for the pool heating costs. Over all this is a large home that can accommodate a large group and we all enjoyed our stay very much . We would definitely recommend staying at this property.

The house was lovely and well equipped. Since our group was made up of senior siblings celebrating an 80th birthday, the elevator was important for us to comfortably manage the house. We all enjoyed our time together in a beautiful space.

The house was large and worked well for our needs. Where it didn't meet expectations was the need for repairs and updates. One coffee pot was broken, the one that worked was super old and the coffee came out room temp. The porch doors didn't latch well and we woke up to the wind apparently blowing them open. 1 roll of paper towels for a house that accommodates over 20 people is not great. The dishwasher is falling apart. Multiple screens torn. What was acceptable was...the beds were very comfortable. Tons of room with lots of seating. Good pillows and sheets. The bathrooms were clean. The house was overall clean, but white socks turned dirty fast. We don't wear shoes in the house, so it was very noticeable. The tv remotes seemed to need batteries. The remote to the tv at the pool couldn't be found anywhere. Overall, it was just ok. You can clearly tell it's just a rental property.

We had an amazing family vacation for 15 of us at this house. The kids (cousins) wanted to move in forever. It was a terrific space and location for our event. We had people from ages 5 to 87.

Overall the stay was good. Some things that were disappointing were leaky roof--we had water on the floor when we arrived. The other big thing was the pictures on the website--they don't match the descriptions so that was a bit of challenge when we got there. Finally, a few days before check-in we were told we could only have 6 cars. Since we had 19 people coming from multiple states, gettng down to 6 cars was not an option.

This was a great place to meet our kids and grandkids. Lots to do. Only disappointment was being surrounded by tall trees. We thought we would have a beach view. House was clean. Tv in pool area did not work. Pool is super small but the little kids loved it. We would recommend.

Overall nice property but pool pump not working well mid week. Messaged property manager but got not response. No ocean view as advertised - maybe in the winter when there is no foliage. Love the neighborhood.

The house has a strict 4pm check in time and the host was not available to be contacted at this time. We arrived during a bad storm and the house padlock code was incorrect and the host/managing company was not accessible by VRBO app or provided contact phone number. After getting drenched in the ran for about an hour trying to find a way in or make contact with the host someone with the group coincidently drove by and let us in. The house was as featured once inside though the inspection by the cleaners/manager missed a dead rodent in the pool which was present on arrival and we removed ourselves. With these first few issues the host/managing company never returned any phone calls, apologized or offered any sort of remediation gesture for the very poor initial service. They also list a shuttle to the beach but only provided the number to reach the shuttle on request. The kitchen had a fair amount of pots, pans and casserole dishes but the oven was spotty and lost temperature/failed to heat at times when cooking. The house size suited what we needed, the location was great but the service was poor and basic guest hospitality was not good overall. This property is being cared for by a management company and it seems they want as little contact with guests as possible.Would not stay here again due to these issues and would recommend the owner find a new managing company. ***Didn’t provide picture of the rodent as it’s not family friendly per VRBO review rules***

First absolutely wonderful house . Large , spacious, clean on arrival . Easy to Uber to and from for dinner or going out if you don’t want to drive . No issues with check in everything was good about the stay. My only advice is to definitely rent bikes or bring a golf cart if before Memorial Day . Beach access is a LONG walk down the main road no access to bridge but they do run shuttle after Memorial Day. Pool was fine but is small for large groups .

This home was perfect for our annual family gathering. Plenty of space for everyone, so many bathrooms! There is a beautiful park just across the street with soccer fields, tennis, basketball, and a playground. Had a wonderful time, highly recommend!

Overall the property appeared to be well kept with adequate space overall. Things to look into: 1) the tissue holder on the main floor bathroom was loose & abt to fall 2) there needed to be more than 2 trash bags for kitchen trash can 3) directives abt where to leave the towels - although we left all of ours on the floor beside the washer 4) information regarding which thermostat controlled the 2nd floor since there wasn't one on that floor. Also there were two thermostats on the top floor one of which didn't seem to work - that floor was either warm or extremely cold
