Stayed Dec 31, 1969We love the locationa canal off the Pamlico Sound! It's perfect for throwing a line out to fish, or to set out in your boat (docks available, but no launch).

Stayed Sep 21, 2024The house was beautiful, the views beautiful. It was wonderful to spend time fishing right at the house. The outside areas were wonderful! The inside of the house was beautiful, the kitchen well stocked, very clean. We probably wouldn’t book the house again though. The comfort level was non existent. None of our group got a good nights sleep on the beds, the living room furniture was terribly uncomfortable. It was all made out of PVC, which is great for outdoor furniture, but not for living room. Living room furniture should be comfortable. Had the comfort level been better we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed Jul 14, 2024The house was great for our family vacation. We boated, swam and fished from the dock. The pool access is a short drive away and it's a short walk to the beach. Vacation was a hit this year!

Stayed May 23, 2024This place is very comfortable. On the water with fixed dock, nice deck and convenient location. The furniture is not awesome but was fine for us. No regrets renting this home

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Egret Point is a nice house, great location and outdoor area is wonderful. What we did not like was the living area furniture made out of PVC pipes. That type of furniture should only be used outside. The sofa was not comfortable either, not PVC, but hard wooden base with very cheap cushions. Bedrooms were ok and the house was clean. We will not stay again unless the furniture is updated.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Hubby, son and I went to Avon NC to relax, and do some fishing. We were amazed the home had a water front view, with it's own fishing dock! The home itself was tastefully decorated. We caught plenty of fish which made a wonderful dinner with sides. Quite, peaceful place, can't wait to go back in the Spring!
