EdiStar at Edisto Beach

The pet area was great feature at this house. The kitchen had everything available for making meals. Limited use of TV channels, always asked for subscription for most of the selection picked which was a disappointment.Couple issues that we encountered was with various gaps in the flooring. Almost stub my toes and had to watch my balance walking between master bedroom and bathroom.

We had a wonderful time at the Edistar even with all the flooding for days.

This floorplan was perfect for our extended family of 9 adults plus 3 dogs. Two bedrooms on either side of the house and the barn doors separating the bedrooms/bathroom from the main area gave privacy. Enough room for everyone. Huge kitchen counter with dinner table for 6 and lots of extra barstools. Well stocked kitchen. Amazing sunroom and sun deck with plenty of lounge chairs, adirondack chairs and tables facing the ocean. Fun games. Fenced backyard and gates on porches ensure pets or little ones don't escape. Walkway to beach very close. Quiet street. Host responds immediatley. Older but well maintained and furnished house. We really enjoyed our stay. Just needs a swing underneath. We will stay here again!

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The sun room and the large deck were great for quality family time. The location was unbeatable. It was only a short walk to the beach and we were close to great restaurants and shops. This beach house truly felt like a home away from home. We left with wonderful memories and are already looking forward to returning.

this was the third time we’d booked a weekend getaway on edisto and this house takes the cake! we did not want to leave and we can’t wait to go back.

Property was very clean, had all the kitchen tools we needed as well as games and beach toys to use. Had a blast and it was great for the dogs as well.

We had a wonderful time! The split floor plan was wonderful for our family and the fenced in yard a great benefit for our dogs. So nice to be so close to the beach with a toddler and dogs, and the quiet street made it even less stressful managing all the things.

We had a great stay. The house was setup well for us and our two dogs. The yard is large enough for our dogs to run around. The property is close enough to the beach to hear the surf and the back deck is on a quiet street.The kitchen was well equipped and the house was very clean.

The EdiStar is vintage Edisto style, but the house has been updated and is thoughtfully prepared for guests. We found everything we needed and enjoyed the short walk to the beach. We appreciated the bath products and all the beach chairs, games, umbrellas, etc. that were available. It's also a luxury to have linens provided and beds made upon arrival. The house was very clean and well-appointed. We would gladly return.

Location!!!! Location!!!! Quiet street literal steps to the beach, fenced in yard (rare find), SO MANY extras-games especially. It is clear that the owners put thought into making this property a one of a kind experience for everyone. Would highly recommend for those that want the true beach vacation.

Great Location. Lots of space. Perfect set up for our 2 dogs. Excellent communication with owner. Highly recommend.

Just too short!! The location and set up of this house is wonderful! Great design for couples/families to have some privacy and lots of thoughtful details in the house. Host response to a few questions was very prompt. Would definitely stay at the home again.
