Easy Walk to Town and the Beach, But Feels Like You're Away From It All

I came with a group of women and we enjoyed the house very much. It was clean and nicely located near town. We enjoyed the neighborhood pool, which was just down on the corner and the fire pit in the back yard. Communication with the owner was very good. I would recommend staying here.

We had been to New Buffalo before and knew we wanted to return. The location of this home is perfect! You can see the main street with shops and groceries since it’s a corner house, so everything you need is close by. We took walks to the beach and were playing games and reading on the front porch every morning and evening. Our kids loved the pool just steps from the house. With 3 floors, there was plenty of space to spread out. My son spent the week playing games in the loft. There are a lot of bikes and helmets for riding around the area and a fire pit out back with 5 chairs to enjoy smores in the evening. We appreciated the spices and a few staples like sugar and condiments in the kitchen. All the beach gear is available: plenty of nice towels, an umbrella, lounge chairs, and a wagon to haul it to the beach. Although, we found ourselves dropping the gear off in the car and having one person bike or walk back to leave the car at the house and avoid paying. (It’s only 10 for 3 hours or 20 for the day at New Buffalo Beach.) The wineries and breweries are all super close, too, along with a kids’ amusement park (Captain Mike’s- 15 min.) with go carts, etc. that turned out to be more fun than expected for our 11 and 13 year olds. (Cash only.) Of course, the dunes are all close by as well. The hosts are fantastic at communication, and you’ll feel like you can reach out for anything, not that you’ll need it. This was a great place to relax!

The 3-bed, 3-bath house was perfect for our friend trip. Location allowed us to walk to dinner and still drive to local antique shops in Three Oaks and Lakeside.The house was clean and the screened porch was a great place to socialize after dark.

3 bedrooms/ 3 bathrooms everyone had there own space in the house. Easy to walk to shops and restaurants in New Buffalo.

We had a great stay in New Buffalo, this spot was close to everything, warm and nice inside, and the beds were comfy. We were a little sad to see the hot tub was gone. Would come back again!

I wished I had booked an extra day! We stayed here for our anniversary getaway, and enjoyed the town, Warren Dunes nearby, the lovely cottage and owners' hospitality. We had an amazing stay at this beautiful and spacious home! The house was well-appointed with everything we needed to feel comfortable. It was convenient having a full-service grocery store nearby, which made it easy to pick up fresh ingredients and prepare some meals right at the house. The location couldn't have been better – just a short, easy walk to both the beach and the charming town center, making it convenient to explore and enjoy the area. It felt like a home away from home.

This charming home was immaculate & such a great location. All you could want for a weekend getaway without having to drive to restaurants, boat harbor, pool, etc. Tracey was fantastic with communication and really appreciated everything about our stay. Can't wait until next time!

Perfect location and super cozy home! Our family of 5 enjoyed every minute of being walking distance to beach, marina, downtown/restaurant and the Merchant Street Cottage pool. From the moment we arrived at the home, we knew we found a great fit for our family. The cozy spaces were perfect for our young ages. The closeness of the pool helped on the hotter days when the beach was not an option. Tracey had everything that we could think of (and forgot that we needed) to make our vacation a success! I will be staying here again and telling friends and family!

The house is absolutely adorable. It's walking distance to the main street in New Buffalo with Stray Dog, Brewsters etc. It's in a very convenient area, and a cute little community. The host was very responsive. Enjoyed the stay and would absolutely stay here again!

Loved this place! The house uses every inch it has to comfort and entertain its guests. The provided beach/pool towels, pool floats, bikes, shampoos, body wash, spices, and kitchen supplies saves SO much packing space. My kids loved making s’mores at the fire pit, hiding in the loft, and playing ping pong/air hockey on cooler nights… then swimming in the heated neighborhood pool the next morning. We walked to the grocery, ice cream, beach, playground, and a different restaurant each night. We didn’t run into any problems during our stay, communication and check in with Tracey was wonderfully smooth. Would stay again in a second.
