Property was nice well maintained lots to do there everyone had a very good time

This house was perfect for our family..plenty of room, beautiful views, lots to do on the sound, gorgeous sunsets, clean and very inviting. This place is amazing!

Great sound front house with beautiful views. Plenty of room. One super nice feature is that every bedroom has its own bathroom a powder room in the top living area. Jeff and Betty make it easy to rent this house, get in, get out and just have a great vacation. Highly recommend East Wind. One caution for wind surfers - getting sails and boards out the long pier can be challenging especially when the wind is up. The next door neighbor was home and volunteered to let us use their pier.

The house was nice and clean when we arrived. We needed a new coffee maker, our host was super responsive to get us one quickly. We enjoy the East Wind house. The arrangement with a bathroom for every bedroom is excellent. Working with Betty as our host is also a pleasure. Thanks for a great visit.

The house is great.The view on the water is outstanding.It’s easy lo live with a group as the house is spacious and offers many different areas and spaces. It’s easy to find a peaceful place to relax even with a big group and kids.The 1st floor is perfect for the kids. They have there own bathroom and play room.The gear management can be improved.

Beautiful views, fully outfitted kitchen, and great location!

The property was very comfortable for a family of 11. We enjoyed our stay and look forward in booking again! Other than needing some updates the property was an excellent choice for us!

Extremely clean! The kitchen was very well-stocked. Great family-friendly home. Plenty of room for all 8 of us to just relax, play games, watch the birds, watch the wind and kite surfers, and enjoy the beautiful view of the Pamlico Sound. Awesome location!

Great location and beautiful view of the kite surfers on the sound. House was clean and well stocked. Owner/caregiver were easy to contact and were responsive. Our second stay here and would do it again.

Everything was great. Just had a smoke detector that decided to go off for no reason. Checked it and turned it off. I was a firefighter for 40 years so I checked everything.

The location, cleanliness, just everything was awesome!!

Beautiful property! We loved the hottub and dock. We did need handrails going into the home for my older parents.

We enjoyed our stay very much and were pleasantly surprised with all the house had to offer. Everything from check in to check was made very easy. The sound view was amazing! Lots of room to come together as a family and also spread out. Would definitely choose this house again.

Eastwind is wonderfully comfortable! My 3 generation group of 11 had more than enough space…..big bonus for us was the fact that each bedroom has its own bathroom.Living room, dining room, and kitchen are open to one another…..great for a large group.House, parking areas, and private pier all clean and in good condition. Outdoor shower was clean and nicely put together.We cooked our dinners every night, we baked, we all ate together……and we found all utensils and kitchen equipment that we needed, and it was all in good condition!!!Location is great……less than 5 minutes from the house to the front door of the Avon Pier, about 10 to Food Lion.We spent the vast majority of our time on the pier or in/on the sound (4 kayaks and many life vests provided!!). Caught some crabs by the pier.Had 1 minor issue during our stay. Called Betty (property manager) and someone was at the house to fix it in a matter of hours. Very responsive to multiple questions prior to check-in as well.One of the best houses we’ve rented over the past 17 years.

House was great had an excellent week

We loved our stay at this house. We all appreciated that all the bedrooms had a bathroom! That is a feature that really appealed to us! The kitchen was well stocked which we appreciated!We did rent the linens, towels, and beach towels from the rental company.The kids had a great time playing in the sound and at the pool. The views from the home is just breathtaking! The sunsets are absolutely gorgeous! The walk to the beach wasn't too bad, but next time we will bring a cart. The beach was not overcrowded which we appreciated. The kids loved that DQ was within walking distance.We did feel that the dishes could have been cleaned better. We had to wash a lot of pots/pans before using them because it had oil/grease on them. Overall, we loved this place and already booked for next year before our stay was over.

East Wind has it all - 5 BRs, access to the sound, a bonus media room, a complete lower level, a pool table. There are so many ways to have fun here. We had a phenomenal time. And Betty is always there for any questions.

We were in Avon to windsurf for two weeks. The house is set up well for this. The house also has a great layout for couples, with each bedroom having it's own bath. Betty is a pleasure to work. We love Hatteras.

The home was exceptional. Very clean with a lot of amenities, The property manager was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed.
