Eagleview Retreat Guest House. Two lodgings in one

Loved the property but we heat a heat wave and the house does not have A/C so some uncomfortable sleeps otherwise amazing house!!

Great place, everyone in our group enjoyed their time here and wished it was longer. House is beautiful, clean and quiet.

Lovely property with a fabulous view! Plenty of space and rooms were well separated allowing for privacy. Found everything that we needed for a one week stay. I was worried that because it was not air conditioned we would be too hot as they were calling for temperatures in the mid 30’s. In fact it was not an issue. Lots of fans in the house and by opening up the windows each night (the windows are all screened), and then closing them during the day we were very comfortable. The owners answered emails promptly. Loved the area. Would recommend Balfour golf! All in all, a fabulous week. Thank you Charlotte and Robin

From the moment we booked until check out we had a fabulous experience. The owners were very quick with replies for any questions we had and the accommodations were top notch. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is wanting beautiful views and who is going with a group with kids or on your own.

We used the home for my family while we hosted a reunion in Nelson. Lovely home, very clean, everyone enjoyed their stay.

Was a wonderful stay. Great space. Hard to park, would recommend a reflective marker at the top as it was not the easiest to navigate with a truck. Clean and easy to use home. Wish the home book was easy to locate as we had to search for the binder. Lots of games and toys made it fun for the kids. Kids liked the hidden rooms in the closets. And the water on the night stands was nice.. kids always need water.

This house was perfect for a family get together. My mother has limited mobility (she uses a walker) and having the master bedroom and walk in shower on the main floor was great for her. The owners were wonderful and communicative.

HOME FROM HOMEExceeded our expectations by far. Besides the breathtaking views the home was comfortable, spacious and immaculate. There was ample games, ample supplies including laundry items. Soaker jacuzzi tub was pure luxury.Definitely highly recommend you stay here.Jane & Rob (Mission BC)

The location was excellent and we appreciated the well equipt kitchen, we did a lot of cooking! The check in instructions were also nice and clear & the kids play area downstairs was great.On the downside, there were a couple of cleanliness issues and most of the matresses are pretty tired now including the sofa bed. For those that need phone reception, it's pretty sketchy up there but good WiFi throughout.

We were a group of four couples, it was great to stay in a large house with sufficient bedrooms and a large kitchen and dining area. The check-in and check out process was easy and well communicated, the recent snow had been taken care of so parking was easy and it was nice to be able to park in the garage.

Our group was enchanted to discover this hillside retreat overlooking the lake. The open kitchen provided everything—even the spices—needed to comfortably cook and serve meals with, and we enjoyed choosing some fun new games from the owners’ ample selection. It was handy to have two living rooms for separate activities and two refrigerators for all our food. The bathrooms were luxurious, with extra-deep bathtubs. We were glad to be close to the hot springs and also to a lovely campground along the water with multiple trails and well-presented information on the habitat and salmon recovery. This rental was a key to the success of our BC holiday.

Stayed at this beautiful property for our Christmas celebration with family, we had a wonderful stay, plenty of space for everyone! Hosts are very responsive and gave great instructions prior to our stay, making us feel confident at the check in time. Hoping to stay here again next year!
