Eagle River Chain of Lakes Cottage

The host was wonderful and very responsive! I cannot say how much I appreciated that. With that being said, maybe we caught them on a bad week but the place was not very clean nor was it plowed or shoveled when we got there. When I messaged she did offer to send someone there to do it but we really did not want to wait so my husband ended up shoveling instead. It was also very dusty/musty smelling inside.Part of the house was renovated and seemed pretty nice but the other 2 bedrooms were not great. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and the bedding in our room had suspicious crusty stains on it as well as garbage on the floor under the bed. The bathrooms were also not cleaned very well. The toilets were splattered with some form of bodily fluid. I assume the owner does not live near by and has someone come to clean. They may want to consider some one else. I know it seems like I’m being picky but we really are not hard people to please. I booked the place because it does have wonderful reviews so maybe we just caught them on a bad day. The location was wonderful. We came for the snowmobile races and it was not a far drive to the track and all surrounding restaurants and businesses. The view of the lake in the morning was amazing we saw so many deer walking on the lake it was really something. We very much enjoyed that!

My husband was in the area for a construction-related project and had the opportunity to rent this cabin for a longer time period. Lisa was REALLY great about communicating throughout the entire process (booking, etc.)

Great location, right on the water and close to town. Near shops and restaurants of Eagle River. Rented a pontoon boat and cruised some of the chain. Cabin was nicely decorated and well- equipped. Laundry next master BR was handy.

The cabin is very nice, and was very comfortable for my family of 4 plus my parents. The house is right on the water, and easy biking distance from downtown eagle river.

We loved this little cabin on the Wisconsin River. The backyard firepit overlooking the water was one of our favorite spots. The rainy, cold weather kept us from utilizing water activities but cozy cabin kept us warm and dry. Watched movies on the smart tv, enjoyed nearby restaurants, shops, and museums.

We returned and it's a great place to stay!

Our family had a great stay in this perfect 3 bed 1.5 bath cabin on Watersmeet lke. The owner was extremely responsive and ensured that we were always comfortable.

Cabin was great except no air conditioning!!! You couldn’t swim the water was nasty!! Overall good stay cabin was extremely cute and spacious

Excellent location - beautiful place on the river and very convenient to town! Great communication with the hosts! And a lovely cottage! All made for a memorable time in Eagle River. I would definitely recommend.
