The instructions for check out clean up were different on the website than what was in the cabin so we were confused about what we were supposed to do. Also, the dryer had a burning smell so we did not want to use it when we left.

This is a great property! But it’s off the beaten path. We rented both units but ended up only using the lower unit. It’s small but clean and has everything you need. Lots of outdoor space. Dog friendly with no size limits. There is lots of wildlife so I do suggest a long line. Resident turkeys, deer, squirrels and lots of birds. Great communication by property managers.

Reviewer Comments: Not only is this an ideal oak woods escape to enjoy the Paso Robles appellation, but it's also nicely equipped as a cozy, comfortable getaway to take a break in between tastings at nearby wineries! We especially liked it being more rustic and away from the crowds so we could relax without worry. Bring whatever food you might need since there aren't stores nearby but the kitchen is equipped so you can cook whatever you need - including on the BBQ. The Winery is a separate business, but just a few steps away and they have some terrific wines so be sure to reserve a tasting with Bob! There are two units at the house so separate couples can relax as preferred. Fun to find they even had a guitar there so I could play a few tunes on that awesome covered porch.
