Dunes Cabin at Chesterman Beach, Tofino B.C.

So beautiful, a wonderful location and property. Would come again!

This is a great little cabin. While the grounds outside are somewhat overgrown with moss and ferns, this does make it a more private space. The hot tub was amazing and the kitchen was well equipped. The beds were very comfortable as well. The couches and chairs in the living room are very uncomfortable and should be updated. Otherwise, a great stay and wonderful location just walking distance from Chesterman Beach.

Just as advertised, only better. Private location, great hot tub, and yet 5 mins walk from the beach. Close to town and the park.

What a perfect little oasis close to the beach! Couldn’t have been a better experience. Clean, comfortable, well appointed. Would highly recommend to anybody who wants a great Tofino getaway.

The location and setting werr excellent. One bedroom does not have a window. There is a door but no screen on it so we did not open it at night therefore it was a little stuffy while sleeping.

The location was excellent, a couple minutes walk to Chesterman Beach and a 5 minute drive to downtown Tofino. Unit was very eclectic but suited our needs. The property did not have an address posted on the street or on the house/unit which was not helpful. The entry instructions were to enter a code into a lock box but the instructions did not state you also needed to turn the lock mechanism to the left before turning the door handle. It would also be helpful if the outside lights were on a timer. With the tropical rain forest growth around the unit, it is very dark at night. The lighting by the driveway also wasn't working. Would be helpful if this was on the same outdoor timer.

Great place close to ocean and tofinoIt was weird to have 2 tvs in bedroom and none in the living room. For Winter Olympics

Hot tub was a great extra. Location was fantastic, close to everything. Rooms were clean. Comfortable place to stay. They even provided rain boots and heavy duty rain coats for guests.

An absolute wonderful stay at The Dunes Cabin! My partner and I celebrated our birthdays by walking the beach, soaking in the hot tub, and playing crib on the deck. The cabin was clean, fully stocked with all our needs, and the location was perfect!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Dunes cabin had all the amenities and was walking distance to Chesterman Beach (and biking distance into town). Hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a day of learning to surf. Would definitely return!

Great location, loved having a washer and dryer and hot tub. Did not appreciate that all the bedding was really damp... Chris said I should have called housekeeping right away but at 10pm when you're all tired from travelling and your kids wanna go to sleep you should be able to count on the beds being ready to use instead of having to have someone come over and change everything. Again, it was nice to have the dryer, but should not have been something we should have had to deal with. Other than that it was a good stay, the place could use a little refresh and maybe more towels provided without having to ask.

Cute, make-shift cabin. The cabin must have been repurposed, as there’s a non-working water fountain in the bathroom. A bit of a walk to downtown Tofino, but great location to the beach and trails. The property has lots of privacy and amazing lush greenery. Overall, a great quirky cottage.

The Dunes Cabin was a great place to enjoy Tofino. It was within walking distance to Hotel Zed which has a great cafe and restaurant, and biking distance into town. The 5 minute walk to Chesterman's Beach was amazing. Hot tub also perfect! I was a little surprised that the area was a bit noisy with construction and traffic, but that seemed to lessen on Friday and Saturday. I would definitely recommend this spot for an active stay where you aren't spending too much time inside. I would stay here again with the kids, it seemed like a really safe area and very convenient.

Great family vacation!

Very convenient place in the trees. Few minor issues/smells as noted in their guest book and was not the most well maintained. Seating options are quite limited inside and out. There is a spot with a tiny pond within the property that could be a nice spot, but its quite unpleasant to look at currently. Overall it was a nice stay for a few nights

We stayed for 4 nights. Check process was smooth. We arrived by plane and the airport is conveniently located about 10 minutes away. Grocery store is about 15 minutes and some restaurants and shops are about five minutes away. The house is very comfortable and cozy. Kitchen is equipped as we cooked many occasions. Expansive beach is about 5 minutes walk. Hot tub is very good for relaxing in the evening. Overall, excellent day..

Great location and comfy spot with 2 kids

This was such a great retreat, quiet, cozy and in a perfect location close to shops and the beach but away from crowds. My only suggestion is better pillows, but everything else was thought of.

The cabin was beautiful and so clean! We loved having the full kitchen, laundry, and deck. It was a short walk to the beach - Perfect for travelling with kids.

Perfect location for our group. Rustic cabin was exactly what we were looking for.

Super stay at the Dunes cabin - great to use the hot tub after a day beachcombing or surfing. Loved the kitchen appliances and location was perfect.

Perfect spot. We were in Tofino for our friends wedding at the Wickannanish.Walking distance to the resort, Chesterman beach, the Zed Hotel (for happy hour) and coffee in the morning at the Tofitian made for a great extended weekend here.

We have stayed here before and love the location and most of all the private hot tub. And having a full kitchen allowed us to enjoy several meals in the cabin. Cozy and quiet! Couldn't ask for more

Extremely peaceful. Close walk to beach. Easy access to downtown Tofino. No complaints at all.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Dunes Cabin. The private location cabin was perfect for our family to relax and spend time together. The proximity to Chesterman Beach was fantastic and allowed for us to walk back and forth between the beach and home numerous times a day with our children.
