DuneFine Cape San Blas Sleeps 10 & Dog Friendly Private Pool

Our stay at Dune Fine was amazing. The location was great, we had the beach to ourselves and the weather was a perfect mix of sunshine with a touch of rain. I highly recommend beachboundvactionrentals.com!

What a wonderful place to vacation! They have thought of the extras to make the stay even more enjoyable! From the beach chairs to ten dead to the takes to wipe your feet off!

Location was amazing. The manager was quick and fast to respond to any questions or concerns. House was very clean. Only recommendation would be to upgrade the the washer and dryer and have some chairs on the master bedroom deck. Thanks for an amazing stay!

We have stayed many times on the Cape, and our stay at Dune Fine has been one of our favorites. This property is beyond well equipped with everything you need for a great time at the beach. From the new beach chairs and beach wagon to the well appointed kitchen you just need to show up and have a great time. The beds are super comfortable and you can’t beat the pool after a long day at the beach. We will definitely be back.

The driving rain kept us from enjoying the beach or the pool. But as I say, you can plan a vacation, but you cannot plan the weather. Dune Fine is a beautiful home just a short walk from the beach. If the sun were shining, I am sure there would be gorgeous views of the beach and the bay from the top floor/widows walk of the house. Dune Fine is furnished nicely, and the kitchen is very well stocked. My one suggestion for the kitchen would be to provide some dry measuring cups and measuring spoons. The house was clean when we arrived, and the linens smelled very fresh. Other than the weather, we did have a few hiccups along the way. The original set of keys would not open the doors, so we had to go back to the office for new keys. The picture of the pool deck shows 6 loungers but there are only 2. We asked multiple times for at least one additional chair for use during our stay, but none were provided. I guess in the end, this really didn't matter due to the weather. The other thing of note, there is no elevator but lots of steps if you have anyone in your party with mobility issues.

The home is well stocked with plenty of kitchenware, linen's, towels and living space. It is in a great location for restaurants and the local stores. The pool is amazing. Reviewer Comments: Day 1 :Upon arrival I noticed a ticket left from pest control for the property and found a bunch of dead roaches throughout the house. The oven did not work to cook dinner and we had to go out to eat after going to the grocery store to be able to cook at home with kids/family. Day 2: We started to discover live roaches in the home. Along with trash and debri left inside the home from previous renters. My kids kept finding treasures. On the way to the beach for the 1st time my daughter was stung a few times by yellow jackets while walking on the provided beach path. Day 3: 2 door knobs fall off of exterior doors and they are so rusty that they almost cut your hand during operation. I was able to secure the door knobs after purchasing a screw driver from the local store. Day 4: Lightning struck the home 4ft away from where I was resting. Fire and sparks shot out of all the electrical sockets and switches in the crows nest. There was a strong burnt electrical smell. Power was out and the AC no longer worked in the home along with the internet. Several contractors had to make repeat visits to rectify the problem. AC and power were restored by late afternoon. Internet and the Oven were still broken. I was also stung by yellow jackets on the beach path 6 times. Day5: The oven was fixed finally. So we got to use it for the last 2 days. None of the pots and pans are in good condition making food prep and cooking hard. All teflon pans are scratched and have burnt on food from previous renters and bent making them useless. When I called to report these things I was told it is not their responsibility to inspect the property but the previous renters need to report things. If no one reports thing how could they know to fix them. Inspection?? I have never heard of this in the 30+ years of multifamily property management that I have personally. I own and operate apartment complexes. Overall the worst rental experience in Cape San Blas

The beach access was super close and easy to use. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We were also big fans of the dock on the bay and used it everyday. Coastal Joe was great with anything we needed during our stay. We would definitely stay here again. These are very minor but just thought we would mention because they would be easy fixes - a Keurig coffee pot would be a great addition as well as a tv in the kids bunk room. Although they would rarely be inside to watch, they do enjoy watching movies together at night. Other than that, great house with great amenities and the best location on the Cape!

The property was in a great location on the Cape. We would have liked to see a better equipped kitchen. Better cleanliness or touch ups to the home are needed. Overall good stay.
