Stayed Dec 26, 2021Great stay - perfect location. We love walking to everything so the location was great. We rented bikes nearby - the trail was so convenient and close too. The cottage was the perfect size for our family of 4 plus the dog.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The property is very nice and the owner very helpful and accommodating. The photos of the Sweetheart cottage, however, do not show its proximity to a busy roadway. The owner did give us the option of a better located unit, which we took her up on.

Stayed Jun 30, 2017We stayed in the yellow cottage and we absolutely loved it. We felt right at home! Our dock had an amazing view of the fireworks! We could see clearwater and tampa and all the people inbetween. We had everything we needed right there. And when we didnt have it, she made sure she could help in any way she could ! We even chatted about where to eat and where we could swim. She also mad sure to include things that our children could go to. We finally met our neighbors the night of july 4 th out on our balcony. We all chatted away like we kmew eachother for a while. It was so peaceful. I would definitely reccomend her to anyone. Her houses are stunning and she takes great care of them! The town is perfect for those who prefer to stay away from huge crowds.

Stayed Jan 10, 2017Rented cottage for a week in January 2017. Pleasantly surprised to learn that owner lives in another cottage on the property, met us and showed us around and was available if an issue arose. Property was extremely clean and well stocked with linens, cleaning supplies and kitchen ware. Some of the appliances were a little dated, but were in good working order. As mentioned in other reviews, cottage is near a well used street and some distraction was noticed when in the living area. However, traffic noise was not a problem in the bedrooms which are away from the street. Cottage is situated about 100 feet from the bay and we enjoyed beautiful sunsets every evening. Although cottage is between 1/2 and 3/4 mile from downtown Dunedin, we chose to walk along the untraveled and tree covered lane with beautiful old houses every time we went to the town center. would highly recommend this rental.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Review for the Sweetheart Cottage My husband and I spent a wonderful four weeks in the Sweetheart Cottage, one of three accommodations at Dunedin Cottages. We drove from Maine with our little dog, Zoey, and were warmly welcomed by owner, Autumn. You will not find a more accommodating host. Autumn has taken great care in providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. We celebrated our 44th Anniversary in Dunedin and enjoyed a whole month of lovely sunsets on St Joseph's Bay, just a few yards from the cottage. The only downside to this rental is the road noise from alternate 19 which runs right in front of the cottage. That said, our stay was perfect in all other ways. The town of Dunedin is charming and the surrounding area provided us with plenty to do and see during our stay. Of special interest is the Pinellas Trail which can be easily qaccessed a few blocks from the cottage! Bring your bike and walking shoes! Thanks, Autumn for everything!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed in the cottage in early May and it was beautiful! I would recommend this cottage to anyone with a small family (4 or less people). Walkable to a nice pier and worth the $$.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We arrived on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at the Sweetheart Cottage (the yellow cottage) to a warm welcome from the owner, Autumn. She took me and my family on a tour of the adorable cottage, the laundry/storage area and the private pier (off of which my husband caught several species of fish during our stay). We knew at once that we made the right choice in booking this place for our 12 day stay! Not only was the landscaping beautiful and the gulf picturesque, Autumn made every effort to accomodate us. The cottage was stocked from top to bottom, it was immaculate, and the decor was enchanting :) Even my husband, who fancies bear-skin rugs and antlers, liked it! Autumn was always a phone call away and was usually on the property. I have already recommended her properties to many of my friends and family. The town of Dunedin itself is great. There is a playground right across the street and there are many cute shops to visit. The only negatives I must mention (which are not huge issues) are that there is no ice maker, only ice trays, and the parking spot was a little hard to get into with our big truck. But this in no way kept us from having a lovely experience. This was by far the most relaxing place we've ever stayed in Florida. We hope to return in the near future!
