Stayed Aug 8, 2024We had a wonderful stay! This is a very quiet and secluded location. The house was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. We got so much rest, enjoyed the fire pit and porch and some quality family time exploring, and fishing around the island. Thanks for a great long weekend!

Stayed Aug 11, 2023We enjoyed our stay here. We lacked nothing -stocked well with linens, paper goods and kitchen items. The reception on the TV was not great. We had trouble finding the road as there was no road sign. The rental itself was fine

Stayed Aug 6, 2023Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Markus retreat. It is perfectly sized for 4-5 people, and has most everything you'll need. You'll have to drive most anywhere you want to go (grocery, restaurant, beaches, etc), but that was fine with us.... While there it was very quiet and laid back.

Stayed Sep 30, 2022Very clean and recently updated house. water even filtered in a pitcher did not taste good. Very nice people to deal with. Deer visited daily for apples.
