Driftwood Cottage by Rove Travel | Serene Cottage

It was lovely and clean and tucked away right in the middle of town. Very sweet.

The location of this property is excellent. Rove was in contact with us from start to finish and made the stay very pleasant.

Great location near to the beach and the centre of the village. We were able to access other parts of the Hamptons very easily. The pool and outside decking areas were relaxing and well maintained. Whilst the property is a cottage there was plenty of space for us (family of four) for our stay. Kitchen amenities were also well maintained. Malin and Goetz products were appreciated. Plenty of space to park and unload on the private driveway. The only negatives were accessing the driveway through the gate for the first time was not easy as the code appeared to be wrong and the curtains in the bedrooms are far too thin and do not properly block out the summer sun at sunrise in the morning (some may like that of course!).

Very cute property, great location right in between East Hampton and Amagansett. Back yard was great. The management company was very helpful when I contacted them with questions but there could have been more instructions for how to use things at the house. Otherwise, great stay!

I stayed here with family recently and loved the house. The location was private and convenient. The management company was available to answer our questions. It was perfect for an off season get away.

Location: 5/5. Walkable into town & 10 min drive to the beach House: 3/5. The house itself is older and not very well maintained (the AC didn’t work upon arrival), the yard has tons of weeds, and the bedding was not very comfortable. But the pool is super nice, the yard is very large, and the grill worked well. Service: 5/5. We had plenty of complaints (AC didn’t work, not enough towels, door code didn’t work) but Rove/Ivan were super responsive and helped us get everything we needed

2 couples stayed and had a great visit! Drove to Montauk lighthouse. Visited Gurney’s and the Inlet restaurant. Walked from the cottage to a chowder restaurant. The house was clean and neat. It was an excellent property and would TOTALLY rent it again.

The property was nice and overall was clean. Perfect location & no true issues other than a few personal preferences that may not bother others. There was a lack of hand towels, a few bugs which is to be expected and we didn't love the beds. Most of the group likes firmer beds & the bed were very soft. The sprinkler system does go off in the middle of the day by the pool which was a bit inconvenient, but we didn't ask how to turn them off so mostly on us. Since the pool is surrounded by grass & trees vs more of a permitter there are quite a few bugs in the pool. Otherwise, we had a great stay!

Short walking distance to wonderful restaurants and a (long) walk to the beach. The heated pool was really exceptional!

This property is in a great location, walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. The house is cute and had lots of space for four of us. Kitchen is well equipped. The pool and yard look nice too, although it was too cold to swim when we were there. Neighborhood was quiet, no noise from neighbors. We enjoyed our stay and would return.
