The property had an amazing view and hotel like amenities
We have a very nice time staying. The home was clean and the communication between the manager was great. Highly recommend this place.
This was our 2nd year staying at Cherry Fish North and this house was perfect for our while family. Plenty of beds & space. The location is great and the views are amazing. Highly recommend!
We spent the weekend here while skiing at Crystal Mountain. Short drive to the hill and being able to enjoy downtown Beulah was great. Perfect for 2 families with plenty of space for kids and adults to relax. The view was amazing!
We very much enjoyed our stay. The home was very clean when we arrived and had everything we needed. Proximity to the lake is outstanding. Having the boat lift for our rental boat was very convenient. We will definitely come back.
This property was great for a group of 9. There were so many “water toys” to play with in the garage and the upstairs and downstairs patio areas were where we hung out most of the time to enjoy the view and water. The house was super clean and stocked with what we needed! The property manager even brought more paper goods in the middle of the week! We will definitely be renting this property again if we come back to Crystal Lake as a big group! You won’t regret staying here!
My family and I enjoyed this place so much! If you're looking for a place near a lake, book here! Everything was nice, peaceful, close to a few fun things to do with family ? overall a great experience! They also provide a lot of equipments to enjoy the lake such as kayaks, floaties, and more!!
The 2nd floor deck on this house is glorious! What a place to relax, watch the lake activity and view the sunset. Simply wonderful. This is a refreshed older house, so design and some furnishings and appliances are dated (trash compactor, anyone?) but appliances all worked well. Interior mostly clean, exterior needs cleaning. It's split level. You enter on street level, which also has a full bath - this bath serves the downstairs. You go down half a flight or up half a flight to similar floor plans. Each floor has two bedrooms at the front (nearest the road, which is close). You will hear some road noise, but appears to be decent sound insulation - road noise never woke us up. Upstairs is a bunkroom and a large bedroom with a king. Upstairs also has full bath (shower but no tub). The bathrooms have been updated as to countertops, showers, fixtures, but not toilets. No issues there. Downstairs another two bedrooms. The bathroom is the previously mentioned entrance one (tub/shower). In the space nearest the lake, both levels have a long narrow living area in half the space, with a fireplace separating that from the other half, which upstairs is the kitchen and downstairs is the laundry room. Both living areas have TVs, as does bunkroom, but not the adult bedrooms. Wifi worked well. There are no instructions for working the TVs, so you have four remotes and no idea which to use in what order. Called the managers, who were not helpful. Similarly, no instructions for using fireplace (can only use the upstairs one). Another call. They texted handwritten instructions that looked like a child had done them. Tried to follow them a few times unsuccessfully (child smarter than me). If you're experienced w/ gas fireplaces, may not need them. Large garage has water toys. Could park a vehicle there - no remote opener available. Have I mentioned the glorious deck? Since the house is only 10 steps from the water, it looks like you're on a cruise ship - just railing and water. Can watch sunset from the deck, but a better view is from dock. There is a tiny beach (basically none), and you could tie up a boat or PWC to dock. Neighbors are very close. Not visible unless they go out in water or on docks, thanks to fences and trees, but you will hear them if they're there. If they're partying, then you're partying. House has a holding tank for sewer. If it fills up, light comes on in garage, then you have to call company to pump out, while worrying about overflow.
We really enjoyed our week at Cherry Fish North. We have stayed in numerous places on Crystal Lake over the summers but this home was one of our favorites. It was well equipped and the furnishings and finishes exceeded our expectations. The lake is literally out your front door. A few Adirondack chairs on the front lawn would make this a perfect beach experience!
We enjoyed our week at the Cherry Fish North and are scheduled to stay again next summer. Some feedback: The garage was accessible to us which was awesome for storing water and kids toys. Also they have a lot of water toys and chairs available for use including two kayaks. The AC is very powerful but on the living room wall, not central air but every closet had large fans for use if wanted. The laundry room is very large and the water is not iron’y like many other houses but bring laundry supplies. The kitchen is well-stocked and there’s a ton of closet space in this house. We have stayed in numerous houses on Crystal Lake (15+) and all have their quirks which is expected but it helps to know ahead: There are no stairs off the dock and there’s a band of stones so bring water shoes. The downstairs bath tub is unbelievably slippery so make use of the provided bath mat. If you have young children, bring a baby gate for the top of the stairs because the family room is the landing. The house is on a portion of Crystal Drive that is very busy, not very walkable/runnable so be careful!
As soon as we entered the home I knew we would have plenty of space for our family of 7. The house is beautifully located, and amenities abundance. Our young adults appreciated the kayaks and floats!
