Dream Tropical Pool House Delray Beach near Ocean

Nice rental property with proximity to Delray Beach. Great location.

Our family of six recently stayed at the rental property in Delray Beach. The property itself has a prime location, nestled in a charming neighborhood with close proximity to the beach, local shops, and restaurants at Atlantic Ave. The house's exterior was welcoming, with a quaint garden and a pleasant pool area. While everything was functional, it was outdated and one would expect better quality at such price point. We also had to ask for additional amenities to suit the needs of our family such as cutlery, plates, glasses etc. What truly stood out during our stay was the excellent service provided by the property managers. When we encountered issues, they responded immediately and found a solution.

There’s green mold under the kitchen sink that wasn’t addressed in a Jan ‘24 review and has destroyed the cabinet from the ignored leak. I’m highly allergic to mold so this is a serious health hazard! The entire place was dirty; the kitchen was so under-stocked there was barely enough dish, glass and silverware for 4, very few bowls, mugs and no bottle or wine opener or an oven mitt. There was also mold in loft en-suite shower and broken glass shower door panel. We were given one stained bath towel and one wash cloth, no hand towels. The stairs were dangerous as was the balcony with missing and broken balusters. The tv didn’t work. Lighting in main bath was broken. Thermostat was coming out of wall. The outdoor patio and balcony furniture were moldy, cushions ripped beyond repair and the wicker lounger so frayed it cut you and so much more. And to top it off, the host was terrible and didn’t address the majority of issues. Do not stay here!

My friends and I stayed for three nights for a beach and golf weekend. The house was very comfortable and the outdoor space/pool were great. It was centrally located just a short Uber ride to all wonderful restaurants on Atlantic Avenue. It was also very close to the beach. We enjoyed our stay and our hosts was very helpful and made check in very easy.

Key concerns for future guests: Under the kitchen sink area is affected by extensive green mold, leading to a collapsing cabinet due to excessive moisture. Additionally, the stairs pose a serious safety risk as they are stubby, short, uneven in size, and most likely fail to meet code requirements. The master bed is uncomfortable, featuring a noticeable hump in the middle. These concerns raise skepticism about VRBO's rental vetting, even when booking with a premier host.

The house was just as beautiful in the pictures if not more. During our stay, we were amazed at how many amenities there were for us to use. Pool was amazing. Driveway is long and spacious for multiple cars. Would come back again.

Nice house with all the amenities. Very private and a short drive to the beach. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Overall a great place to rent and spend time with family and friends.

We enjoyed our stay very much at the house it was very confortable . Pool Was sooooo nice, staff was excellent always responded to my emails in minutes and so helpful With our needs.

Maxime is a lovely, very responsive host. The pool is fabulous, and feels like an island oasis in a busy area, 10 minutes to the beach and bustling Atlantic Ave. Be aware that while it is 3 bedrooms, the primary is a loft, which isn’t ideal when traveling with younger kids. Beautiful decor!

This house has everything & the pool is amazing! King bed is very comfortable . My 75 lb Labrador who is part of our family got to come too. So we appreciated that. Host is great to work with.
