Dream Getaway can be easily reached by driving on level roads in Big Bear Lake (no driving up and down mountain icy roads to get to our cabin). One of the best things about staying at Dream Getaway is its proximity to all the action! We are only a couple of blocks of walking to our village, market, restaurants, bars, local bakery, bike shops and the popular Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain, SO ON BUSY WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS THERE IS NO NEED TO EVER GET IN YOUR CAR AND GET STUCK IN BIG BEAR BLVD TRAFFIC!!! Terrific location, just across the street from the National Forest in quiet neighborhood, quiet street, and a short walk to the historic village and lake, plus plenty of level parking in the driveway for 4 cars.

We had the most wonderful Christmas celebration at this cozy cabin in Big Bear! From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The comfort of the cabin was unparalleled, with its inviting wood-burning fireplace creating the perfect ambiance for a holiday gathering. The cabin was thoughtfully stocked with toys for our toddlers, which kept our little ones entertained for hours. It truly felt like a family haven, and it’s clear that the host goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. We stayed with our three kids, my mother-in-law, and my spouse, and the space was perfectly accommodating for our family size. The kitchen was well-equipped for preparing our holiday feast, and the layout made it easy to enjoy quality time together. The location was also ideal, offering quick access to Big Bear’s attractions while still being nestled in a serene and peaceful area.We can’t thank the host enough for creating such a warm and welcoming environment. This cabin was the perfect backdrop for our holiday memories, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a family-friendly getaway in Big Bear.If you’re searching for the best cabin rental for a family vacation or holiday celebration, this is the one! We’ll definitely be back. Thank you to the host for such an unforgettable experience!

Our stay at the Dream Getaway was just what we needed: an incredibly comfortable, cozy and peaceful time nestled in the woods. We hardly noticed there were other cabins nearby. The spa located down a short path surrounded by trees made our evening just perfect. This is an inviting home filled with charm and we hope to return again soon.

One of our favorite places we’ve stayed in Big Bear. Great location close to town, but right outside your door is some amazing sledding that keeps the kids busy for hours. Coming back to soak in the hot tub was amazing as well. We went with our 2 kids and loved all the toys and board games available in the rental to keep the kids occupied when we weren’t out exploring. The house was very clean and the kitchen well stocked. Beds were also very comfortable. Definitely recommend!

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary, but there’s plenty of room if we had brought the family. It’s pleasant and quiet without being remote. The hot tub surrounded by trees was a great place to relax and enjoy nature. The cabin has plenty of windows and several sliding glass doors for natural light and fresh air making time spent indoors pleasant as well. Streaming sticks on the tvs made it simple to stream music or movies. A great place to stay regardless of how you plan on spending your time.
