Dream Coastal Home w/ Marsh Views + Private Pool by Tybee Cottages

Overall House was great and layed out perfect for our group. It was opening weekend for College Football. We struggled to get the TV live to watch the game. We tried to log in to all of our different streaming outlets and finally by the 7:30PM game were we able to get it going. The house is PERFECT for a group of people to watch football so we were disappointed in the struggle to get the games going. We also stayed at the house during what we would consider a heatwave but the house never cooled down past 74. The room on the bottom floor, was 74-78 the entire time. Thank goodness for Fans! Other than that, house was awesome and would come back again!

Plenty of room to spread out if needed or be together. The large table was a plus so we could eat all of our evening meals together. Each bedroom was well sized but if the bunk bed room was full it would be crowded. But kids like that so no biggie. The pool was really nice to have while we were there as it was very warm during our stay. I wish the pool would have been cleaner. We didn't have an issue with the leaves and needles as we could clean that out ourselves but the water was cloudy and the bottom needed scrubbed/cleaned. We were there for 5 days and did not see anyone and it did not look like it had been cleaned before we got there. Wish the grass would have been mowed as well it was pretty long. My kids loved the screened in upstairs porch area off the bedrooms and they spent a lot of time out there. There were two grills which was really awesome until we realized there was only one propane tank. Called the company for another one but they told us it wasn't an emergency so they wouldn't bring one until the next day which didn't help us since we had meat to grill that night. Wish that could have been different. Overall the property was great and we would stay there again even with the minor inconveniences. I will also say if you are looking to use a golf cart on the island this is a property you can do that from as some areas you cannot and I would highly recommend it. Made getting around so fun and easy.

For starters, this home is so well equipped for any item you may need for your stay! The location is great, it is .3 miles to the mid beach crossover. Listing states 5 blocks, but it has 3 very short blocks, and 2 normal blocks...very easy walk! Mid beach is the perfect location (not near hotels, etc so a local favorite) and the driveway easily holds multiple cars and golf cart. Located just down a very quiet street and sides on the marsh...tons of marsh life for kids to explore! The home features 5 Bedrooms, 4 bedrooms all with King beds, plus a perfect bunk room with 4 beds. One very large bedroom with extra sitting room and mini fridge is located downstairs on the ground level and lends itself to families that may have someone with low mobility, a full bath off this room in the 2nd family room has a walk in shower...(wheelchair might be tough, but walker friendly). The primary bedroom has a private sunroom over looking the pool and the marsh and beautiful sunsets, the other 2 king rooms have direct access to the gorgeous side screen porch, over looks sweeping marsh views and features several sitting areas, dining area and outside stairs to the amazing pool with comfortable seating areas, multiple lounge chairs and 2 large umbrellas for shade. The covered downstairs porch features a full pool bath (not mentioned) and there is also an outside shower with hot water for rinsing off after the beach! My only complaint...we could not talk our grandkids out of the pool! Early morning to late night everyday...we had to beg them to go the beach! The perfect home for families! We are booking for 2026!

The home we originally booked was taken off the rental market and Tybee Cottages quickly provided other properties to choose from with this beautiful home included. The home is well maintained and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need! The location was convenient but still felt secluded. Our kids spent hours every day playing in the pool. It was the perfect retreat!

We brought the whole family and this was the PERFECT home for us! It was very clean and very well stocked. There was plenty of space for all of us to congregate together, as well as plenty of space to all do our own thing. The outdoor patio and screened in back porch/table was such a blessing! We will definitely be back!

The family and I had the best time together.
