The casita is wonderful and Mario a truly attentive host who arranged all our tours and even made reservations for dinner. It is close to the beach and the Main Street but also a secure haven with a walled garden of tropical plants and vegetation. From the decks, we watched a toucan, scarlet macaws and even a troop of capuchin monkeys playing in the trees.

We just left and I am overwhelmed by the gratitude for the hosts, Mario and Nicole, for making our stay as enjoyable and worry free as possible. Nicole pointed us to the tour operators and Mario was there for our family every step of the way. The house is perfect for a family of four. The garden is impressive and inviting to birds and the balcony has the rainforest in the back and we saw a sloth! We are definitely coming back and will stay here again. Thank you for everything!

The property was great and the AC in the bedrooms was a huge relief after going without for the first half of our trip! Nichole and Mario were very helpful, providing directions for our taxi driver and arranging 2 taxis to the airport for our separate departures. They also helped us reserve and book our Caño Island snorkel trip. They also let us check in early when we arrived by taxi from the opposite end of the peninsula. The house is up the hill from the beach (which was a bit of a trek for our friend who had a sprained ankle), but generally convenient to groceries and restaurants. The decks overlooking the forest in the backyard were great for birdwatching and even monkey watching! There were also beautiful birds visiting the gardens in the front yard as well. I would highly recommend this location for people wanting a space where they can appreciate the local flora and fauna!

Good location in drake bay. Wonderful helpful host , Mario helped us with all arrangements to getting to Drake bay, and all our excursions, couldn’t have been more helpful. We would recommend Coco Cafe for all meals. The accommodation was great it was set in a lovely garden , and in evening we were able sit out and watch the wildlife. We would definitely recommend the property.

We all loved our stay! Mario greeted us when we arrived to show us around. He also walked us to meet up with our tours two of the mornings, which was very helpful. He would also point out various animals on the property when we would see him. Him and Nichole were both very responsive to any communication, questions, recommendations, etc. The highlight of our stay was sitting on the balconies and watching the monkeys. We saw white face capuchins and woke up to howler monkeys one morning. We also saw various birds, lizards, bats, and more. The house is only a quick walk away from the town and the beach, which made the location extremely convenient. Staying here was a great start to 2024, and would recommend to anyone visiting Drake Bay!

Had an amazing time at this property. The hosts Nichole and Mario were the kindest people we have met. They greeted us as we arrived and gave us a tour of the house. They even booked a Caño Island tour (highly recommend) and took us there in the morning. They made sure we had everything we needed and were always on standby if we had any questions. I ended up getting a really bad swimmers ear and developed an ear infection and Nichole and Mario were so kind and brought me antibiotic ear drops to help. I’m so thankful for her and Mario and all their hospitality! We also saw spider monkeys as we were making breakfast and heard many howlers as well. Such a wonderful experience and would love to go back!

Perfect house for 2 couples, with 2 separate bedrooms on 2nd floor, comfortable beds and good size rooms. Caution with outdoor stairs required, especially at night. Front and back gardens are beautiful. On the 1st floor is the living room/kitchen area, very well equipped for cooking, with recycling and composting available. A water tank is included for drinking. There were problems with water pressure, due to construction work in the area, Mario was quick to solve the problem. Information booklet provided in advance, very useful. Nichole and Mario made all the arrangements for the boat transfer and pick-up. Mario is a very nice host, very helpful, I wish we would have used more his services for guided tours or other recommendations. The only small downside is the location right in town: as soon as we leave the garden, it is very dusty and hot, with no feeling of being in the nature, however it is convenient for grocery and restaurants. Grocery is minimal, with limited choice of meat and fish. As it is very hot, even in the garden, we enjoyed the A/C in the bedrooms, we wish there would be some in the living area as well! It was nice to meet the guests in the other casita, and to chat with Mario on a daily basis! We really enjoyed our stay in this nice house! Thank you Nichole and Mario.

Very clean and quiet. Mario was very attentive. Absolutely beautiful and had all the amenities of home. Except for a washing machine. But had a lovely wash stone sink off the back to watch the jungle. Would not recommend for group op young people who like to stay up and have too many drinks. Not that type of apostrophe. Very peaceful. I would definitely recommend to the right group of people.

Owner Mario was extremely friendly and helpful. Met us at the water taxi and walked us us to the property and gave us a tour. Helped to book all our activities. Was available if we needed anything. Property was clean and easily accessible to stores and town and beaches. Hopefully we can go back. Great space for family or two couples. Mario showed us a sloth in the backyard.
