Stayed Jan 29, 2026Timber Top Lodge was the perfect location for my 30th birthday ski trip. The home was gorgeous and comfortably fit my group of 15. There were endless games and activities for the group and the kitchen is VERY well stocked. We truly had a wonderful time. Something to note: the shuttle stop is about a 10-15 min walk away and all uphill when returning. Just something to note incase this doesn't fit the needs of your group. My group was fine with this and found it convenient!

Stayed Jul 21, 2025We have rented homes all over the world and Timbertop Lodge by far is the new favorite. We gathered here for a week with our children, spouses and 7 grandchildren from Tennessee and Scotland. Everyone felt so at home and comfortable. The biggest hit was the bunk room for the 7 young ones. At first we were worried because they all wanted to stay in that room but it appeared to only sleep 6. To our surprise, the twin 8 year olds found that their bunk had a pass through that was a perfect fit for their 5 year old brother. We made him a very comfortable little nest in his little cubby. The 16 and 14 year olds loved being at the top. The other 4 bedrooms were roomy, comfortable and had huge closets. We had planned on eating out but the gourmet kitchen beckoned to this family full of foodies. We cooked some wonderful meals on the griddle, grill, etc. Everything we needed was available. It is a perfectly stocked kitchen. There was so much to do including pool, ping pong, darts, video games, board games, jacuzzi etc, we sometimes had trouble getting the family to want to leave the house. We did to tubing in Golden on our way from Denver, Horseback riding at the Rusty Spur Ranch (highly recommend), hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park, Alpine Slide, Gondola rides, miniature golf, rock climbing, and ropes course etc, shopping and ice cream in Grand Lake, hiking Mammoth Lake, summiting Gray’s and and Torry’s Peaks, driving Trail Ridge, and a rodeo in Frazer.

Stayed Jan 29, 2025The house was awesome. The bunk beds are great, especially with 14 40 y/o guys on their yearly ski trip. Cook top is amazing and having the right cookware is a big plus. The only complaint from a bunch of older men was the bus stop was a little too far

Stayed Jan 4, 2025The home was beautiful and extremely well stocked. The kitchen had everything you could want and the management was quick to respond to any issues we had. I would definitely stay here again. Be sure you have all wheel or four wheel drive though!

Stayed Dec 21, 2024The house was excellent, we were unhappy with management company due to insufficient attention to a gas leak, 911 was called and disaster avoided. We asked for reasonable financial reduction of rent and denied our request. A partial refund didokswgranted

Stayed Dec 11, 2024Just recently stayed at the timber top lodge cabin for an annual friendsmas. We fully enjoyed all the amenities. The cabin was large enough for our entire group ranging from 1yr old to 36. It was spacious and welcoming. Our only complaint was at night the house would get much colder as it seemed some of the windows weren't completely sealed so it would let in a lot of cold air. However the bedding and beds were comfortable enough to keep you warm. We had a minor incident with the hot tub but once we called the reservation line, they had someone come out within the hour to fix it. I would definitely recommend this place to any large group.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Very nice cabin. Does need a few maintenance issues fixed. I personally fixed a few things myself. Been in the trades for 25 years and this cabin is built very well. We stayed a full week. Exceptional area for avid outdoors people. Great hiking right out the back door. Lots of activities in the cabin also. Kids absolutely loved the bunk room. Kitchen was fantastic and we cooked on the griddle every day. Thanks for the best vacation ever. We will definitely be back. We are now in love with Colorado.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We celebrated my in-laws 40th anniversary this past week at this cabin. We had 12 adults and 6 little kids, we fit great. The family enjoyed hiking in the area, horseback riding, and ziplining. We loved the nightly sunsets from this cabin! It was such a treat staying here!
